The first to go through was Monterrey. Rayados beat Santos Laguna 2-0 and advanced with the same aggregate score, after drawing 0-0 in the first leg.
The game began to get on track for the locals very early, since just 3 minutes after the start, Rogelio Funes Mori appeared to score 1-0. The Argentine striker took advantage of a bad defense by the Verdiblancos after a cross from the right and the ball was loose on the edge of the small area. The Mellizo only pushed the ball into the back of the net and now Santos had to score 2 goals if they wanted to advance.
A few minutes later, at 12′, one of the controversial plays of the night came after a disallowed goal for DΓ³ria, which would have made it 1-1, however, the VAR said that the Brazilian defender was outside and in the replays could not be seen.
Already in the second half, at 68′, Maxi Meza was going to sentence the series after a very long pass from Omar Govea that the Argentine midfielder lowered in the best way and then defined hard and crossed. 2-0 and they only needed to wait for time to pass to ensure their qualification.

In the other game of Saturday, America suffered much more than expected but finally advanced to the semifinals after losing this Saturday (1-2) but beating AtlΓ©tico de San Luis 4-3 on aggregate.
After their 1-3 victory as visitors and knowing that they had the sporting advantage, everything seemed like it was going to be easy for the Γguilas, but quite the opposite. After 30 minutes the Rojiblancos were winning 0-2 and were 1 goal away from achieving something heroic.
First, it was Unai Bilbao and then LΓ©o Bonatini, both with headers, who were going to give life to this series and a frantic outcome. The series was 3-3 but it was AmΓ©rica who was advancing to the semifinals for having finished in a better position in the regular phase, so San Luis had to keep looking for another goal.
In the second half, the Azulcremas controlled the ball more and kept AtlΓ©tico away from their area, but the danger was present, and it was not until the end, at minute 88, that they were able to rest. A shot by Diego ValdΓ©s was saved by goalkeeper AndrΓ©s SΓ‘nchez, but Uruguayan Brian RodrΓguez was attentive to the rebound and defined quickly to make the final 1-2 and give his team a pass to the semifinals.

On the other side of the draw, Tigres lost 3-1 on their visit but came out of hell alive, qualifying with a 5-4 aggregate. The Filipinos had taken a great advantage in the first leg with their 4-1 victory, taking into account that the Diablos Rojos had the sporting advantage.
It was a great match at the Nemesio Diez stadium. Edgar LΓ³pez opened the scoreboard after 26 minutes with a shot from the edge of the area that was slightly deflected and went over Nahuel GuzmΓ‘n. Great goal and the duel was on.
Before the end of the first half, in stoppage time, Marcel RuΓz took advantage of a great cross from Carlos GonzΓ‘lez to head in and make it 2-0, leaving them just 1 goal away from a comeback and classification. That goal would come just at the start of the second half, at 53′, when once again LΓ³pez, after a long kick from goalkeeper Tiago Volpi and a header from GonzΓ‘lez, defined the cross to make it 3-0 and hell was burning.
However, at minute 70, AndrΓ©-Pierre Gignac crossed the ball to SebastiΓ‘n CΓ³rdova, who scored the discount with a header and put Tigres back in the series. That would be the final score and those led by Robert Siboldi would advance to the semifinals. Now they will face Rayados in the ClΓ‘sico Regiomontano.

Finally, in the ClΓ‘sico TapatΓo, there were more fouls than plays. Atlas had won 1-0 in the first leg with a great performance by his goalkeeper, Camilo Vargas, and at the Akron stadium they sought to defend the score and were doing so in the first half, however in the second part, at 60 minutes, Gilberto SepΓΊlveda appeared completely alone after a corner kick from Alexis Vega to make it 1-0 in favor of the RebaΓ±o.
The scoreboard did not move anymore and Guadalajara managed to advance to the semifinals thanks to having finished third in the regular phase of the tournament, while the Zorros had been ninth. Now we will have a ClΓ‘sico Nacional (Chivas vs. AmΓ©rica) in the semifinals.
