Why Bet on Rams?
The Los Angeles Rams head into Week 5 with a 3-1 record after defeating the Texans, Titans, and Colts, while their lone loss came against the Eagles in Week 3.
Last weekend, they beat Indianapolis 27-20 thanks to a stellar performance from Matthew Stafford. The quarterback posted a 71% completion rate, connecting on 29 of 41 passes for 375 yards and three touchdowns, without throwing an interception. Stafford currently ranks second in passing yards (1,114), trailing only Dak Prescott (1,119).
Wide receivers Puka Nacua, Davante Adams, and Tutu Atwell caught the touchdowns. Notably, Nacua leads the league in receptions (42) and receiving yards (503), with two touchdowns to his name.
On defense, the Rams also stand out, ranking second in the NFL in sacks (14), just one behind the Denver Broncos.
Why Bet on 49ers?
The San Francisco 49ers had a strong start with three straight wins over the Seahawks, Saints, and Cardinals. However, they’re coming off a home loss last weekend against the Jacksonville Jaguars, falling 21-26.
Brock Purdy returned and had a mixed performance. He completed just 58% of his passes, going 22 of 38 for 309 yards and two touchdowns, but he was intercepted twice, making it four picks in his only two games.
The touchdowns came from running back Christian McCaffrey and tight end Jake Tonges. The team is dealing with key injuries to George Kittle, Brandon Aiyuk, and Jauan Jennings, and it’s taking a toll as they’re struggling to finish drives in the red zone. Purdy and wide receiver Ricky Pearsall are also questionable due to injury.
If Purdy can’t go, Mac Jones will step in at quarterback. He’s already played two games this season, won them both, and has thrown four touchdown passes along with one rushing score. He was also listed as questionable but has now been confirmed as fully recovered.
Final Betting Analysis: Rams vs. 49ers
Although both teams are tied at the top of the NFC West with a 3-1 record, on the field, the Los Angeles Rams are a step ahead, especially at quarterback. On top of that, the San Francisco 49ers are dealing with key injuries that will limit their offensive power, which is why we believe the home team will come away with the victory.
The numbers at Gambyl Exchange have the Rams as the favorite, with their Moneyline at -260, while the 49ers are listed at +210.
The last time these two teams faced off was on December 12 of last year, when the Rams won on the road, 6-12. Los Angeles has now won three straight in the series.
Go for a win for the Rams. If you bet $100 at -260, you will gain $38 for a total payout of $138.
