Why Bet on the Kansas City Chiefs?

Not even in their worst nightmare could a Kansas City Chiefs fan have imagined this start. Andy Reid’s team has three wins and three losses, sitting third in the AFC West behind the Los Angeles Chargers (4-2) and the Denver Broncos (4-2).

Fortunately, they just won a game that could give them a big morale boost—a convincing 30-17 victory over the Detroit Lions in a brilliant performance by Patrick Mahomes. The quarterback completed 22 of 33 passes for 257 yards and three touchdowns, while also scoring another one on the ground.

The passing touchdowns came from Marquise Brown, who scored twice, and second-year wide receiver Xavier Worthy, who recorded his first of the season.

Mahomes had 10 carries for 32 yards and remains the Chiefs’ player with the most rushing yards (222), surpassing Isiah Pacheco by eight and Kareem Hunt by nearly 140. That’s something that needs to change in Kansas City’s offensive approach.

Why Bet on the Las Vegas Raiders?

So far, the Las Vegas Raiders’ season has been disappointing; they won the first and last games, but lost the four in between. With a 2-4 record, they sit at the bottom of the AFC West.

They are coming off a 20-10 win over the Titans, snapping a four-game losing streak. Geno Smith completed 17 of 23 passes, with 174 yards and one touchdown, marking his best completion percentage of the season at 74%. However, the 35-year-old quarterback was intercepted once and now leads the league in that category with 10 on the year.

The touchdown came from tight end Michael Mayer, who scored his first since December 14, 2023, and the third of his career.

On the ground, rookie running back Ashton Jeanty scored his third rushing touchdown. He has been used 105 times so far this season, ranking fourth in rushing attempts behind Jonathan Taylor (115), Christian McCaffrey (108), and James Cook (107).

Final Betting Analysis: Chiefs vs. Raiders

Both teams are coming off wins and aren’t having their best season, but the Chiefs are vastly superior to their rival in recent history, roster quality, and especially at quarterback. The Raiders are in a rebuilding phase under a new head coach, and it will take them longer than expected to become true contenders. This victory should go to Kansas City.

The numbers at Gambyl Exchange have the Chiefs as the favorite, with their Moneyline at -847, while the Raiders are listed at +575.

The last time they faced each other was on November 29, 2024, when the Chiefs won 19-17. Kansas City has now won two straight against the Raiders and 13 of its last 15 meetings. Since 2012, the Raiders have not managed to win two consecutive games against this opponent.

Go for a win for the Chiefs. If you bet $100 at -847, you will gain $12 for a total payout of $112.
