What are the Divisions of the NFL?

The National Football League (NFL) consists of 32 franchises, divided evenly into two conferences: the American Football Conference (AFC) and the National Football Conference (NFC), each with sixteen teams.

These conferences are further divided into four divisions—East, North, South, and West—each containing four teams.

Every NFL team participates in 17 regular season games and has one bye week, with the conferences alternating between hosting nine and eight home games each season.
