Bahia had taken the lead thanks to Luciano Juba, and it looked as if the first half would end with that minimal advantage. However, in stoppage time, Hulk took the ball from a corner kick and, with his characteristic power, sent a left-footed shot between goalkeeper Marcos Felipe and the near post. But the joy was short-lived. In the 90+7th minute, Michel Araújo surprised the Mineiro defense and scored the winning goal for Bahia, sealing the comeback and leaving the visiting team’s efforts without any reward.

Since he arrived in 2021, Hulk has become an icon for Atlético Mineiro. At 38, the former Porto and Brazil national team player continues to score memorable goals. In the 13th round of the Brasileirão, RB Bragantino won 2-1 against Corinthians on Sunday.

The first goal of the match came 30 minutes into the first half, when Eduardo Sasha scored from the penalty spot to break the initial tie. At the start of the second half, Cacá equalized with an accurate header in the 52nd minute, but just a few moments later, Thiago Borbas put the visitors ahead again with a goal after an elaborate play.
