The second round of the Betplay Dimayor League will formally kick off with the Cuadrangular of the Clausura 2023 this coming weekend. Only the eight teams that reached this phase will compete and fight to win the championship in December.
The Dimayor held two draws after the conclusion of the regular season or round robin of the Clausura 2023 tournament on Wednesday night, which revealed the qualified teams and their final positions in the table after the 20 games played. In the first, the venues for the Copa Colombia final between Millonarios and Atlético Nacional were determined, while in the second, the teams’ match-ups and quadrangulars.
As regards the League, it is of note that, according to the Regulations, the groups were established by drawing lots, taking into account the position occupied in the classification of Phase I of the Betplay Dimayor League, for which the points obtained in the ‘Todos contra todos’ will be taken into account.
The clubs ranked first and second in the first phase table will be seeded, while the rest of the eligible clubs will be ordered by draw according to the pairings shown below.

The draw produced some intriguing pairings and a group that stands out because of the number of famous national soccer teams and regional favorites.
The placings and, therefore, the format of the first date of the quadrangulars were then determined by the draw for places within the groups.
