Why Bet on Pumas?

Pumas finished off the round-robin competition in a good way, which is why they ended up qualifying for the Playoffs, where they are not favored to advance to the semifinals. They finished sixth in the standings, with a total of 28 points, the same as León, but ten less than their opponents.

The Felinas won three of their last five matches, taking 10 points from a possible 15, also beating Santos Laguna and Mazatlán. Overall, the club from the Mexican capital scored 44 goals, one of the best figures in the local tournament, but its defense left something to be desired, with 34 goals against. Among all the qualified teams, it was the worst defense.

One negative aspect of the Pumas girls is that they did not make much of a difference at home, even though they have not lost in five games. In total, they won three matches, drew three, and lost three.

Their best scorer is the American Chavarin, who has nine goals.

Why Bet on Monterrey?

Monterrey is one of the top candidates to become champion in Mexican soccer, along with Tigres, Pachuca, and Club América. They lost with Chivas, but this setback cannot tarnish the good work of this club, which only lost three times in 17 dates. They won in 12 opportunities and drew on two other occasions.

On the road, this team had the fourth-highest score, with 16 points. They won five times, drew only once, and suffered two defeats.

Their top scorer, South African Jermaine Seoposenwe, scored eight goals and deserves a special mention. Next comes Mexico’s Myra Delgadillo, who has seven, and Dania Perez, who has another six goals.

Overall, this team scored 46 goals, making it the third-best attack in the tournament. It was the second-best-performing defense, conceding only 12 goals.

Final Betting Analysis: Pumas vs. Monterrey

This season these teams have already met in the capital and the victory went to the Monterrey club 3-2, with goals from Seoposenwe, Delgadillo, and Bernal. The Rayadas have an eight-game unbeaten streak against the Felinas. The last and only time Pumas defeated this team was in 2021.

They have faced each other three times in the playoffs and the Rayadas have always advanced. The most recent was in 2021, in the same tournament where Pumas won their only game, but in the quarterfinals, both games were 2-1 in Monterrey’s favor.

Pumas are in a good momentum, which allowed them to reach the Liga MX Playoffs. However, Monterrey’s squad, experience, and capacity will allow them to get the victory in the first leg by 0-1.

Pumas vs. Monterrey Betting Pick: Monterrey
