Two teams that knew how to dominate their zone in the past are looking to straighten their path, as the Eastern Conference’s eighth-placed Nashville SC and the Western Conference’s tenth-placed LAFC face a duel of the needy.
Both have had pretty strong campaigns in recent years. The Music reached the final of the Leagues Cup last year, while the Californians come from two MLS finals in a row, winning one.

LAFC will receive Nashville with only one win this tournament, accompanied by a draw and two losses. That is far from the recent versions of the team that battled at the top of the West.
