They come from steamrolling Newcastle in the league and triumphs in both national cups, over Arsenal in the FA and Fulham in the EFL competition. Something to take into account is that, amid a week-long break after the New Year, the team has played every three days since mid-December. That amount of competition may take a toll on the squad sooner or later.
Their best player has been, as always for many years now, Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian finally reached the injured Erling Haaland at the top of the scoring charts with 14, but he is currently with his country in the African Cup of Nations.
Final Betting Analysis: Bournemouth vs. Liverpool
Liverpool have won four of the last five games against this rival. However, last season was a weird one for both teams, as the Reds gave a memorable 9-0 beating to Bournemouth in the first game, just to fall 1-0 in the second one. However, Liverpool from the second half of last season was one in shambles following a turbulent period, that just recovered in the final stretch of the competition.
The Cherries are a solid team, and even if they have the best club in the league at the moment in front, we doubt they’ll back down to only defend. On the other hand, the leaders just barely surpassed Fulham’s challenge in the EFL Cup, and considering the number of games and the lack of key pieces, it’s hard to see them being at their best this Sunday.
