AC Milan were winless going into the fourth matchday of the group stage, which saw Stefano Pioli’s team show their best side and take the points against PSG with a 2-1 victory.

The French side started on top with a Milan Skriniar goal after 9 minutes, after Marquinhos headed the ball in at the near post, and the Slovakian appeared at the far post to poke it in.

But the ‘Rossoneri’ did not give up and at 12′ equalized with a bicycle kick by Portuguese winger Rafael Leao. In the 50th minute, Frenchman Olivier Giroud put the game to bed with a header after a cross from left-back Theo Hernández.

Milan are third with five points, while Paris are second with six. The Italians will now host Borussia Dortmund, and the French will do it against Newcastle.
