Why Bet on Pachuca?

Pachuca has been a big surprise at the start of the season. They are leading the tournament with four wins in four games, scoring 10 goals and conceding only two, establishing themselves as the best defense in the league.

They have defeated León (3-0), Pumas (3-2), Mazatlán (1-0), and, most recently, Atlas 3-0, with goals from Gastón Togni, Daniel Aceves, and Sergio Barreto. The only team that has managed to score against them was the ‘Felino’ side.

On top of that, they were one of four Mexican teams to advance to the next stage of the Leagues Cup, defeating San Diego FC (3-2) and Houston Dynamo (2-1), and drawing with Los Angeles FC (1-1). They will now face the LA Galaxy in the quarterfinals.

Jhonder Cádiz and Togni are the ‘Tuzos’ top scorers with two goals each, while Víctor Guzmán has three assists.

Why Bet on Tijuana?

Tijuana sits in the middle of the table. With five points, they occupy 10th place with one win, one draw, and one loss. They have scored five goals and conceded six. As visitors, they have only managed to earn one of the six possible points in this condition.

That single away point came in their most recent match, after a 2-2 draw with Mazatlán. Cameroonian Frank Boya scored the first goal, while Kevin Castañeda netted the second from the penalty spot in the 90+4 minute. In addition to that match, they previously drew with Juárez (1-1), lost to América (3-1), and defeated Querétaro (1-0).

Unlike their opponent, they did not fare well in the Leagues Cup. They lost to LA Galaxy (5-2) and Seattle Sounders (2-1), while their only win came against Colorado Rapids (2-1), leading to their elimination in the group stage.

One peculiarity is that they have scored in every game so far; however, two of their five goals have been own goals. No player on the team has scored more than once.

Final Betting Analysis: Pachuca vs. Tijuana

It has been an excellent start to the semester for Pachuca, showing great defensive solidity and attacking power, unlike their opponent, who has looked vulnerable. That’s why we believe the ‘Tuzos’ will take the win.

The odds at Gambyl Exchange favor Pachuca, with a Moneyline of -238, while Tijuana is at +555, and a draw is at +390.

The last time they faced each other was on March 16 of this year, at the same stadium, with Pachuca winning 4-1. Playing at home, the ‘Tuzos’ have three straight victories, scoring 13 goals in that period, and have never lost to this rival, winning 12 times and drawing four, both in league and cup play.

Go for a straight win for Pachuca in the Moneyline. If you bet $100 at -238, you will gain $42 for a total payout of $142.
