MLS Matchday 31 Roundup: San Jose Earthquakes vs. LAFC

SJ Earthquakes +194 LAFC +114 Draw Offs: +276

The clash between the San Jose Earthquakes and LAFC was an exciting match, featuring a total of six goals. As expected, the 5th placed team in the Western Conference, LAFC, emerged victorious against the 9th placed Earthquakes.

LAFC took control early in the game, scoring within the first minute and again in the 12th minute. San Jose managed to find the net with a goal of their own in the 18th minute.

The game remained relatively uneventful until LAFC’s Denis Bouanga scored his third goal in the 87th minute. Shortly after, San Jose added to their tally with an own goal by Sergi Palencia.

MLS Matchday 31 Roundup: Charlotte FC vs. Inter Miami

Charlotte FC +143 Inter Miami +150 Draw Offs: +252

Charlotte’s performance on the scoreboard continues to surprise us as they navigate a “do or die” season. This time, it worked in their favor as they disrupted Inter Miami’s night.

They scored once in the first half and then added a goal early in the second half. The final goal, scored from a penalty, was the last nail in the coffin for the match.

Despite Inter Miami having most of the possession, they couldn’t convert it into anything worthwhile during the game.

MLS Matchday 31 Roundup: Whitecaps vs. Philadelphia

Whitecaps +110Philadelphia +214Draw Offs: +258

The odds favored Vancouver, but no one anticipated the overwhelming defeat they would inflict on the Eastern Conference leaders. The home team scored four goals in the first half and added another three in the second half, maintaining a relentless pace and outpacing the visitors in every statistical category throughout the match. This performance sent a strong message to the rest of the teams in the league.

MLS Matchday 31 Roundup: San Diego FC vs. Minnesota

San Diego FC -122 Minnesota +283Draw Offs: +280

The top teams in the Western Conference faced off, and although many expected the leaders to win, the second-placed Minnesota team pulled off an upset, narrowing the gap to first place to just 2 points.

It’s worth noting that the match was largely uneventful until the visitors scored their first goal in the 74th minute. They quickly added a second goal in the 77th minute and a final one in the 92nd minute of stoppage time. The hosts managed to score a single goal three minutes later, just before the match concluded.
