Game 6

The Milwaukee Bucks will look to knock off the Atlanta Hawks when they meet at State Farm Arena this Saturday, July 3, for Game 6 of the Conference Finals. Currently, they’re leading the series 3-2 after Thursday’s 123-112 victory; the Bucks are one win away from reaching the NBA Finals for the first time since 1974, while, Atlanta Hawks hope to get Trae Young on the court in time for the do-or-die Game 6. He’s missed the last two games with a bruised right foot but was spotted shooting the ball before the game. To stay alive, the Hawks will need Young’s grit and creativity to carry them to victory. This matchup will be broadcast on NBA League Pass.

We’ll leave you with 5 interesting facts ahead of Game 6 between Hawks vs. Bucks for the Eastern Conference Finals:

  1. Atlanta’s games this season have gone over/under (216.5 points) the point total of Saturday’s showdown 59.6% of the time (53 of 89 matchups).
  2. 67 Milwaukee games this year (76.1% of their head-to-heads) ended with a final score higher than Saturday’s point total of 216.5 points.
  3. Together, the two teams combine for 230.5 points per game, 14.0 points more than the over/under 216.5 for this matchup.
  4. These two teams award a combined total of 222.9 points per game, 6.4 more than the over/under for this contest.
  5. The Hawks have seen an average of 222.8 plus/minus in their games this season, 6.3 points more than the plus/minus in this matchup.

We will now review the latest news of both teams before the sixth game in the NBA Eastern Conference Finals:

Hawks: It was a shock to see the ordinarily feisty Atlanta Hawks lack fire at the start of a game, but that’s how they looked on Thursday. It was the exact opposite of Game 4 when they came out ferociously despite losing their heart and soul to Trae Young. If they want a shot at the championship, interim coach Nate McMillan will have to get Bogdan Bogdanovic going early. If Young can’t get a shot, the Hawks will need more than Bogdanovic to step up. Lou Williams, who opened for the second straight game against the Milwaukee Bucks, played relatively well in his 35 minutes on the court in Game 5. However, his production was spotty during certain moments; although he scored 17 points, five rebounds, and four assists, his impact on the game could have been more significant.

Bucks: The uncertainty of Antetokounmpo’s status is the biggest concern for the Milwaukee Bucks against the Atlanta Hawks in Game 6; however, Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton have proven they can handle business without their superstar teammate. The Game 5 win showed just how much firepower the Milwaukee Bucks have if they clicked on all cylinders in the NBA Playoffs, a matchup where Holiday and Middleton were inspiring. Both seemed to embrace the extra burden placed on their shoulders, plus, they used their size advantage to the hilt and dominated the paint against the smaller Atlanta Hawks. Don’t be surprised to see the Milwaukee Bucks do the same on Saturday.

Betting line:

Bucks: 54.2% (-105) – Points: 112.3 – Best O/U: o216-110

Hawks: 45.8% (-115) – Points: 110.7 – Best O/U: u216-110

Game 5

This Thursday, July 1, will be the fifth game of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals, where Milwaukee will return to the Fiserv Forum. They come from tying the series in the last match to present and put much more suspense to a series that never ceases to surprise game by game. There’s a lot of concern on the part of the Bucks due to Giannis Antetokounmpo’s injury. The game will be on Thursday, July 1, at 7:30 p.m. and broadcast on NBA League Pass.

Here are 5 facts ahead of Game 5 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals:

1. Without Young, Atlanta played a perfect game by any measure. And we should not fall back on Giannis’s injury to explain the final score.

2. The Hawks also had several standouts on offense, starting with Lou Williams, who replaced Young in the starting lineup and ended up being the star of the night.

3. Bogdan Bogdanovic’s contribution on both sides was also key for the winner.

4. Clint Capela added 15 points on 6-7 from the field, Kevin Huerter did a little bit of everything (15 points, 7 assists, and 6 rebounds), Cam Reddish brought 12 important points off the bench, and rookie Onyeka Okongwu had a super positive stretch in the second quarter, finishing with 7 points, 3 rebounds and a block.

5. Giannis Antetokounmpo had 14 points up to the time of his injury on an effective 7-10 from the field.

Here are the best plays from the last meeting between the two teams:  (Video courtesy of: MLG Highlights).

This is the current performance of both teams before Game 5 in the Eastern Conference Finals:

Hawks: The Atlanta Hawks showed they are more than a one-person team as they overcame Trae Young’s injury absence to tie the Eastern Conference finals by beating the Milwaukee Bucks 110-88 in Game 4 on Tuesday. Low Williams had a stellar performance in place of Young and scored 21 points, Bogdan Bogdanovic put a poor stretch behind him with 20, and the Hawks pulled away in the third quarter to tie the series 2-2.

Bucks: The team coached by Mike Budenholzer didn’t have a good performance from Giannis, although he was starting to show up in the third until the moment of bad luck came; however, we saw a good performance from Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday to the point that both finished with an identical 6-17 from the field and combined for a 2-14 in three-pointers. If Antetokounmpo misses any game in the series, they will have to step up and show a much more Game 3-like version of themselves to win their team and take their opponents to the ropes in Game 6.

Betting line:

Hawks: 38.1% (+128) – Points: 109.2 – Best O/U: o215½-110

Bucks: 61.9% (-140) – Points: 113.1 – Best O/U: u216½-110

Game 4

The next game between the Bucks and Hawks will be played this Tuesday, June 29, 2021, again at the State Farm Arena, in the city of Atlanta.

Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals series between the Bucks and Hawks, was filled with many emotions and most of all thanks to the performances of Khris Middleton and Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Bucks managed to win the first game at the Hawks’ home with a score of 113-102, putting them at the top of the series with a great 2-1. The Bucks managed to nullify the offensive flashes of a Trae Young who woke up in this last game, but it was not enough to prevent the Bucks from taking this game.

How do Bucks and Hawks arrive?

The Hawks had a much better game than in the second game of the series, they faced a different basketball and came out wanting to go up in the series, but the Bucks stopped them completely. The Hawks started the game with a very good 7-0 on the scoreboard, and as the game progressed, they played a better game, so much so that they started the last period with a 2-point advantage, but they could not contain the team. Bucks’ offense in the latter period.

The Hawks counted offensively with their star Trae Young who scored 35 points and Danilo Gallinari with 18 points. Atlanta suffered an absence on the offensive side of Bogdanovic, who finished the game with just 8 points in 35 minutes played.

On the other hand, the Bucks came from less to more in this last game and, in the last quarter they sentenced the Hawks thanks to the 20 points scored by Khris Middleton in this last period, which was three points more than the entire team of the Hawks, which was essential for the small comeback in the fourth quarter in which they started low on the scoreboard. Anteto was stopped in this fourth quarter, but it was not necessary thanks to the excellent performance of both Middleton and Holiday.

The Bucks had MiddletonGiannis Antetokounmpo, Bobby Portis, and Brook Lopez offensively, who scored 38, 33, 15, and 10 points respectively.

Game 4 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals series will be defined to know the direction that the series will take. The Bucks have already found the formula to stop the Hawks’ offense and have their two stars at their peak. While the Hawks are looking to break out of this slump and hit the ground running in this second home game and tie the series 2-2. In the same way, after analyzing the news of both teams, our winner card is Milwaukee Bucks.

Game 3

The Milwaukee Bucks demonstrated in Game 2 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals why they were the clear favorites to win this series. The Bucks managed to win by a tremendous 125-91 beating of the Atlanta Hawks, thoroughly ruining their image after the fateful Game 1 of the series. Now for Game 3 of the series, we’ll have to wait if this was a severe hit at the Hawks’ table or just a one-day storm. In the same way, the Hawks managed to complete their primary objective, taking a game in Milwaukee to seek to sweep at home and arrive with an excellent advantage in the fifth game of the series.

Game 3 of the series between the Bucks and Hawks will be played this Sunday, June 27, 2021, at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta.

How do Bucks and Hawks arrive?

The Hawks enter this third game of the series with the advantage of having stolen an away game at the home of the Bucks. While it’s true that the Hawks are not the clear favorites to win this series, winning the first game gives them the confidence to know that they can do it. Game 2 of the series against the Bucks was fateful for the entire Atlanta team. All the players were lost on the court, and most impressive was how the Bucks managed to block Trae Young completely. Some Hawks players barely managed to exceed 10 points, and none, not even Young, reached 20 points.

Similarly, the Hawks had little offensive contribution from Young, who scored 15 points, Danilo Gallinari 12 points, John Collins 11 points, and Cameron Reddish 11 points.

On the other hand, we have the Bucks team that, after losing the first game, it seems that what happened was that they woke up a beast. The Bucks overwhelmed, in every way, an Atlanta team that was severely decimated and extremely inferior throughout the game. The Bucks managed to reaffirm the fact of being the wide favorites to be the owners of the NBA championship ring this year.

The Bucks counted offensively on their star Giannis Antetokounmpo, who scored 25 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in 29 minutes of action. They also relied on Jrue Holiday, Brook Lopez, and Khris Middleton, who scored 22, 16, and 15 points, respectively.

Betting line for Bucks and Hawks – NBA Semifinals – GAME 3

Game 3 of the series will be, by far, the game that will define the destiny of the series. The Bucks seek to continue with the excellent reaction they had in Game 2 of the series and reaffirm that their presence in these instances is no coincidence. While the Hawks will try to strike again, but this time at home, and try to return to Milwaukee with an advantage. Likewise, our winner token for this game is for the Milwaukee Bucks.

Game 2

The Atlanta Hawks continue to surprise and defeated the Milwaukee Bucks in the first game of the Eastern Conference Finals at the Fiserv Forum, with a tight score of 116-113, with a spectacular Trae Young.

Game two will be played again at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee this Friday, June 25, 2021.

How do Bucks and Hawks arrive?

Hawks point guard Trae Young was the leading participant in this excellent victory as a visitor for the Atlanta team, achieving his highest personal score in the Playoffs, his third season in the league. The Hawks managed to play an excellent game-winning 2 of the 4 periods and tying one of them.

Young magnificently led the Hawks and managed to snatch the first game away from the Bucks; the point guard scored 48 points and 11 assists, shooting over 50% on field goals. They also counted John Collins, who scored 23 points and grabbed 15 rebounds, and Clint Capela scored 12 points and managed to grab 19 rebounds.

It remains to be seen if the Hawks can maintain this excellent rhythm and take the series 2-0 home to Atlanta.

On the other hand, we have the Milwaukee Bucks, who came to these Conference Finals extremely confident. Someone has to tell the Bucks that defeating the Brooklyn Nets in the Semifinals is not staying with the NBA champion ring; in front of them, they have a fearless team with a Trae Young. Something that directly affected the Bucks and the final result of the game was the fateful night that Khris Middleton had, which is the support of Antetokounmpo, offensively speaking, in these Playoffs.

Middleton had a terrible game in which he scored only 6 of 23 shots from the field, finishing with only 15 points. But, in the absence of Middleton, Jrue Holiday appeared; the point guard scored 33 points and gave 10 assists and was Anteto’s partner of the night, who scored 34 points and took 14 rebounds.

Betting line for Bucks and Hawks – NBA Semifinals – GAME 2

While what happened in the first game was an additional ingredient in making the series between the Bucks and the Hawks more exciting and more engaging, it may be a slap in the face for the Bucks, who became so confident that they let go of a first game in house that nobody gave up for lost. The Bucks must adjust the pieces and play as a collective against the Hawks. While the Hawks have started this series on the right foot and win a game of the two as visitors, they can use this second game to carry out a series of tests for the two games at home. That said, our winner token for this second game of the series goes to the Milwaukee Bucks.

The first game of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals between Bucks and Hawks will be played this Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee.

How do Bucks and Hawks arrive?

The Atlanta Hawks reach these NBA Eastern Conference Finals after defeating the Philadelphia 76ers, one of the best teams of the current NBA season. The Hawks managed to do their homework and beat the Sixers on the road against all odds; they managed to take the victory with 103-96, with a masterful performance by Kevin Huerter and Trae Young. They combined to score 27 points and 21 points, respectively.

On the other hand, we have the Bucks, a team that applied the same dose as Atlanta and won in 7 games and, playing on the road to the fearsome and favorites, the Brooklyn Nets. While it’s true that injuries progressively diminished the Nets’ chances to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals, the Bucks managed to take advantage of every opportunity left by those empty spaces.

In this last game against Brooklyn, the Bucks managed to force the score and go into overtime. Although both teams were erratic in this overtime, the 6 points scored by the Bucks were enough to defeat the Nets, who only managed to score 2 points in this overtime. In this game, the Bucks relied on their superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo who scored 40 points and took 13 rebounds, and on Khris Middleton with 23 points and 10 rebounds.

Betting line for Bucks and Hawks – NBA Semifinals – GAME 7

This start of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals features two teams that have not won a championship ring in more than 50 years, the Milwaukee Bucks and Atlanta Hawks. The Bucks enter this Conference Final on a high after overcoming one of the most challenging obstacles, the fearsome Brooklyn Nets. If the Bucks continue to play this way, we think they can be the favorites in this series. At the same time, Atlanta comes from defeating the favorites and one of the best teams in the regular season Philadelphia 76ers showing that basketball is won on the court but not on the roster. That said, our winner token for this series opener is for the Milwaukee Bucks.
