Suns vs.. Clippers

Game 6

With the series in checkmate, the Los Angeles Clippers managed to take the fifth game of the NBA Western Conference Finals, thanks to a spectacular performance by Paul George. This game is life and death for the Clippers, as the Suns are up in the series 3-2. One of the key points of this game was that the Clippers managed to win on the road to the Suns. With a very aggressive and extremely positive attitude from the start of the game, Los Angeles gave a lesson in sacrifice and survival, ruining the party at home for the Suns.

Game 6 between the Suns and Clippers will be played this Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

How do Suns and Clippers arrive?

Paul George managed to defeat the Suns in Game 5 of the 116-102. The supremacy of the Clippers was seen throughout the game, and on the Sun’s field, they managed to win 3 of the 4 periods, something that had been practically impossible on this complex court for all NBA teams. The Clippers’ offense was led by experienced point guard Paul George, who, due to the absence of Kawhi Leonard, has had to take the reins of his team, and he did well in this game. George scored 20 points in a huge third quarter that ultimately gave the team the win. Paul finished with 41 points, 13 rebounds, and 6 assists. A short rotation of just 8 players managed to accomplish the feat. Reggie Jackson joined the point guard with 23 points and Marcus Morris with 22 points.

On the other hand, we have the Suns team, who came very confident to this fifth game with the series 3-1 in their favor, so much so that they already saw each other in the finals and had the champagne chilling in the locker room. Now they will have to travel again to Los Angeles, avoiding giving a second wind to some dangerous Clippers who are one of the best teams in the world today.

In this last game, the Suns counted on their offense with Devin Booker, who scored 31 points, Chris Paul scored 22 points and gave 8 assists, and DeAndre Ayton, who scored 10 points and took 11 rebounds.

Betting line for Clippers and Suns – NBA Western Conference Finals – GAME 6

Game 6 between Clippers and Suns, for many, even the Suns themselves, was utterly impossible to play due to the absolute supremacy that the Suns had shown in the first 4 games, but this is basketball, so nothing is written until the last period ends. The Clippers return home with the conviction to repeat the dose of game 5 and force a 7th game; However, they are indeed playing the game of life or death, the pressure may be on the side of the Suns, who believed they were already in the Final and ended up being beaten down by some huge Clippers. For this sixth game in the series, we chose the Los Angeles Clippers as the winners of the game.

Game 5

The fifth game of the NBA Western Conference Finals will be played, June 28. During the last match, the Phoenix Suns defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 84-80, and now they lead the series 3-1. The team led by Monty Williams continues to show its strong momentum with great performances by Devin Booker, Chris Paul, and DeAndre Ayton (who contributed 19 points, 22 rebounds, and four blocks); Monty Williams’ team won and is one win away from qualifying to the NBA Finals. This duel will be played at the Talking Stick Resort Arena on Monday, June 28 at 20:00 E.T. and will be broadcasted on ESPN.

Here are five interesting facts ahead of Game 5 of the NBA Western Conference Finals:

1. Suns will qualify for their first NBA Finals since 1993, when they lost to Michael Jordan’s Chicago Bulls.

2. The Los Angeles team had 12-0 shots to tie or go up in the final quarter; this negative mark is the highest in games in the last 25 postseasons in the league.

3. Star swingman Paul George has averaged an incredible 26 points, nine rebounds and five assists in 17 games played this postseason. He is shooting 42.5% from the field.

4. Payne was averaging 10 points and three assists in the playoffs and scored 28 points in Game 3 of the conference finals.

5. After posting a 40-point triple-double in Game 1 of the series, Devin Booker has become relatively good.

Let’s review the best plays from game four between Clippers vs. Suns:  (Video courtesy of: MLG Highlights).

Below, we will review the current events of both teams:

Clippers: The LA team’s shooting was downright abysmal in Game 4, as Paul George and Co. combined to shoot 31-86 (36%) from the field. They made just four of their 20 three-point attempts, in addition to committing a staggering 14 turnovers in the game. Paul George and Reggie Jackson scored 23 and 20 points for LA Clippers, respectively, but their inefficient shooting ensured those numbers didn’t hurt the Phoenix Suns. LA Clippers have been steady since Kawhi Leonard was injured during the series against the Utah Jazz. But it will take a mammoth effort from George and the peripheral stars to force a Game 6 on Monday.

Suns: The Phoenix Suns are one game away from reaching the NBA Finals, a feat they have not accomplished since 1993. The savvy of head coach Monty Williams, brilliant performances from the guard duo of Devin Booker and Chris Paul, and the emergence of DeAndre Ayton have ensured that the Suns are a force to be reckoned with during these playoffs. Cameron Payne, Jae Crowder, and Mikal Bridges have also played their roles to perfection. Payne is averaging 10 points and three assists in the playoffs and scored 28 points in Game 3 of the conference finals. Crowder and Bridges have played stellar defense during the postseason and averaged 10 and 11 points per game, respectively. The Suns have one foot in the finals and will look to close things out on Monday.

Game 4

This Saturday night, the fourth duel of the western conference finals, where the Clippers could potentially close the gap, will be played. Both teams had a very close start; however, the Clippers knew how to finish hard, forcing a fourth game at home. The fourth game of the NBA Western Conference Finals will be played on Saturday, June 26th at 20:00 E.T. at the Staples Center and televised by ESPN.

Let’s review 5 interesting facts between Clippers vs. Suns before Game 4 of the Finals:

1. Suns have been winless this season at Staples Center, losing just three times.

2. The Clippers’ victory last Thursday in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals had the largest point differential compared to the first two games, 14 points.

3. Clippers tied this season’s overall series between the two teams, 3 wins for each team.

4. Suns want to repeat the feat of knocking out the Clippers again in the finals, as in 2006, the Suns won the series 4-3 in the semifinals.

5. Clippers, in the last 20 games against the Suns, have won 17 games.

Here is a recap of Game 3 of the Clippers vs. Suns Finals:  (Video courtesy of: MLG Highlights).

This is the current performance of both teams before the fourth game of the Western Conference Finals:

Clippers: The Los Angeles Clippers played a much more solid game at home. Given the high level of talent of both teams, we believe that the home court factor will play a vital role, so we’ll bet on Tyronn Lue’s team to repeat the victory and balance the conference finals.

Suns: The Phoenix Suns recovered Chris Paul, who did not show his best side, and they missed Devin Booker, who played well below his best level. They only had a slight advantage in the second quarter to take a halftime lead, which in the end was a mirage. Monty Williams’ team broke a streak of nine consecutive wins and had a record of six wins and four losses in their last 10 trips.

Betting line:

Suns: 62.6% (-115) – Points: 110.6 – Best O/U: o219-110

Clippers: 37.4% (+100) – Points: 106.5 – Best O/U: u219-110

Game 3

In an agonizing and heartless Game 2, the Phoenix Suns defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 104-103 and took a 2-0 lead in the NBA Western Conference Finals series. The Suns, thanks to an excellent team play that ended with a spectacular alley-oop by DeAndre Ayton with 7 seconds remaining, ended up taking the victory in this game 2 the Clippers were up at the scoreboard 103-102 with possession in his hands and everything seemed that the series was tied, but Paul George missed two free throws that sentenced the Clippers.

Game 3 of the series will be played this Thursday, June 23, 2021, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

How do Suns and Clippers arrive?

Despite missing much,Clippers, managed to stand very well on the Sun’s field. They managed to win 2 of the four periods and were always very close on the scoreboard. The costly mistake of Paul George, missing the two free throws ending the game, was decisive for the final result of the game. The Clippers counted offensively with Paul George, who scored 26 points and had 6 rebounds and 6 assists in 41 minutes played, and Reggie Jackson who scored 19 points. Now they are moving to the Clipper’s home, so the Los Angeles team hopes to maintain the level shown in this second game since the local condition could help them get the first victory in this Conference Final.

On the other hand, we have the Phoenix Suns who had a very complete and compact game on both sides of the court. The truth is, this second game could have been won by anyone. The team that made a mistake was going to be the one defeated. With 9 seconds left in the game, coach Monty Williams put together a decisive offense for the Suns, since they were 103-102 down on the scoreboard, and the team executed it perfectly. Jae Crowder handled the ball and looked for Ayton in an Alley oops that decreed the final 104-103.

For the Suns, Cameron Payne shone with 29 points and 9 assists, DeAndre Ayton with 24 points and 14 rebounds, and Devin Booker with 20 points and 5 assists.

Betting line for Clippers and Suns – NBA Western Conference Finals – GAME 3

Game 3 between the Clippers and Suns will determine the future of the series. The Clippers will seek to resume the victorious path at home and, maintain the rhythm shown in game two of the series that, if George had not missed the 2 free throws, the series would be tied 2-2. While the Suns arrive with a window of 2 games and with the certainty that whatever happens, they will play the 5th game of the series at home. After seeing the performance of both teams in the last game, predicting who will win the next game becomes a bit tricky, but this time, we are left with the Phoenix Suns as the winners of this game 3.

Game 2:

Suns vs. Clippers, Predictions & Picks

In an excellent performance by both teams, after observing this magnificent first game, we are sure that they are going to give us a heart attack Western Conference Finals. The Phoenix Suns stayed with this first game after defeating the Los Angeles Clippers 120-114. Despite the absence of Kawhi Leonard for the Clippers and Chris Paul for the Suns, the brand-new finalists of the NBA West gave us a spectacular game in the opening of this series.

The second game of the series between Suns and Clippers will be played this Tuesday, June 22, 2021, again at the Talking Stick Resort Arena, in Phoenix.

How do Suns and Clippers arrive?

The Clippers come to this game after having played a very good first game, but it was not enough to take the victory against the Suns. The game was very even, so much so that, at the end of the third period, they were even on the scoreboard 93-93. In the absence of their star, Kawhi Leonard, the experienced point guard Paul George had to put on the number 10 jersey and shoulder the team in this game.

The Clippers counted offensively in this first game with Paul George, who scored 35 points, took 4 rebounds, and distributed 5 assists, with Reggie Jackson who scored 24 points with 6 rebounds and with the very good defensive contribution of Nicolas Batum. The Clippers had the opportunity to equalize the score or win the game since they had possession of the ball with 20 seconds left to finish the game, but a poor decision by Rajon Rondo cost them the game.

On the other hand, the Phoenix Suns, thanks to an excellent game played by rookie Devin Booker, managed in the last quarter to score the key baskets to win this first game. The Suns won the second period, lost the third and finally, they managed to take the victory with a partial of 27-21 in the final period. The Sun’s offense was led by Devin Booker who had the first triple-double of his career, scoring 40 points, taking 13 rebounds, and distributing 11 assists. They also had DeAndre Ayton who scored 20 points and took 9 rebounds and, with a good collective game from his teammates who scored more than 10 points almost all.

Betting line for Clippers and Suns – NBA Western Conference Finals – GAME 2

After watching the first game between the Clippers and Suns, we are even more confident that this series will be very tight and will have many more emotions than we imagine. Both teams arrive in excellent form and, without counting on their offensive referents, they have managed to play an excellent game. The Clippers played a very good game, close to perfection, but the only mistake made was the key to the loss and it came from the experienced Rajon Rondo. While the Suns, in the same way, had an exceptional game and managed to capitalize on all the spaces that the Clippers could leave and managed to take that advantage of 6 points that ultimately gave them the victory. It is a very complicated series to predict due to the level shown by both teams, but in this case, our winner token is, again, for the Phoenix Suns.

This Sunday, June 20, 2021, the NBA Western Conference Finals begin between two powerful teams that we know will leave everything on the court. The Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Clippers face off in a duel filled with many emotions. The first game of the Western Conference Finals series will be played this Sunday, June 20, at the Talking Stick Resort Arena, in Phoenix.

How do Suns and Clippers arrive?

The Clippers come into this conference very confident and are hungry for a victory. Los Angeles managed to overcome a 0-2 against which they had started with the Utah Jazz to win the series 4-2. The most impressive thing about this feat of the Clippers is that, in addition to being the first time in history that they are in the conference finals, it’s that they managed to finish the comeback without their top star Kawhi Leonard who’s injured one of his knees. In the same way, the Los Angeles team instead relied on Terence Man, Paul George, and Reggie Jackson. Also, the Clippers have announced that Kawhi will not be in the first two games.

On the other hand, we have the Phoenix Suns team, which arrives at this stage of the championship dreaming of being in the NBA Final.  Riding on high spirits, with Chris Paul as their leading strategist and captain. Also prominent in the Suns’ lineup are Devin Booker, DeAndre Ayton, Mikal Bridges, and Jae Crowder.

The Suns crushed the Denver Nuggets in the Conference Semifinals with a spectacular 4-0 sweep. And the most impressive thing about the Suns is that they won every game comfortably without worrying. We’ll see if they can maintain the same rhythm of play and continue on the victorious path.
