The second week of the NFL kicks off this Thursday with a big NFC matchup between the Green Bay Packers and the Washington Commanders.
The Packers opened at home with a convincing 27-13 victory over a strong contender in the Detroit Lions.
Meanwhile, the Commanders are coming off a 21-6 thrashing of the New York Giants with a great performance from their defense.

Why Bet on the Packers?
The Green Bay Packers had a fantastic home debut, crushing one of the favorites, the Detroit Lions, 27–13.
Jordan Love didn’t need much to throw two touchdowns. He completed 16 of 22 passes for 188 yards. Wide receiver Jayden Reed and tight end Tucker Kraft were the ones on the receiving end of those passes.
Meanwhile, Josh Jacobs had 19 rushing attempts for 66 yards and scored a touchdown in the fourth quarter. Brandon McManus added two field goals, plus his three extra points.
Defensively, safety Evan Williams came up with a big interception in the end zone, while Micah Parsons, one of the team’s new additions, recorded a sack.
Last season, they managed six wins and three losses at home.

The Washington Commanders had a very solid start to the season and took care of business, defeating the New York Giants 21–6.

In his second year, Jayden Daniels finished with a 63% completion rate after completing 19 of 30 pass attempts for 233 yards, with a touchdown caught by Zach Ertz. He also had 11 rushing attempts for 68 yards.
One of the new faces, rookie running back Jacory Merritt, who played for the Arizona Wildcats, scored his first NFL touchdown on one of his 10 carries. Also, wide receiver Deebo Samuel, formerly with the San Francisco 49ers, had his first carry with his new team.
On defense, they didn’t record any interceptions but did manage two sacks from Daron Payne and Dorance Armstrong.
On the road, they did very well last season, earning five wins and three losses.
Final Betting Analysis: Packers vs. Commanders
It will be a great game between two teams that won their openers and have postseason aspirations, but we believe the Packers will take advantage of their home field to come away with the victory.
