Matchday 8 of the Torneo Apertura was played, which had several agonizing results, but there were not many significant changes in the table.

Diego Valdés, Jonathan Rodríguez and Alejandro Zendejas scored the goals for las Aguilas that got into playoff positions by taking out los Felinos.
