Last Updated on October 10, 2022 11:22 pm by Erwin Noguera

With only one game remaining in matchday 10 of the Premier League, Arsenal gave a big hit and remains as the leader of the tournament.

In a very attractive game, the Gunners passed another tough test and showed that they are going to fight to the end. They defeated Liverpool 3-2 and remain in first place with 24 points after 8 wins and only 1 loss. The Reds, for their part, are tenth with 10 points; their situation is getting more worrisome, and after the Henderson-Gabriel incident, we cannot discard a breark-up in the dressing room.

Manchester City continues to crush all rivals and this time it was a resounding 4-0 against Southampton, where the news was that Erling Haaland “only” scored 1 goal. The Citizens are second 1 point behind Arsenal and are the only undefeated.

Who also had a tough test and was able to overcome it was Tottenham, who defeated Brighton 0-1 on their visit and kept third place. Harry Kane scored the only goal of the game and is second in the scoring charts with 8 goals, well behind Haaland (15).

Chelsea got into Champions League qualification spots after the defeat of Brighton and their victory against Wolverhampton 3-0 with goals from Havertz, Pulisic and Broja, who scored his first goal as Blue in the first team. Coach Graham Potter has 3 wins and 1 draw since his arrival.

Manchester United continues to improve and beat Everton 1-2 with a goal from Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored again after almost 1 month and reached 700 goals at club level.

Newcastle is also still on the rise and crushed Brentford 5-1, scoring 9 goals in their last 2 matches and reaching 6th place with 14 points.

Bournemouth already had 5 consecutive undefeated streaks and came from behind to beat Leicester 2-1 and get into eighth place, a pretty good position especially seeing the beating that the team received some weeks ago.

Crystal Palace came out of the relegation places after beating Leeds 2-1, who already have 5 games without a win and have only added 2 of the last 15 points.

Finally, West Ham has already chained three consecutive victories, counting the Conference League, after beating Fulham 3-1, who missed their scorer Aleksandar Mitrovic. Those of David Moyes are in 13th place while those of Marco Silva are 9th.

This Monday a game will be played between Nottingham Forest, the last of the table, against Aston Villa.
