UFC Fight Night will be taking place this Saturday, May 8, when Jun-Yong Park and Tafon Nchikwi rise to the octagon for one of the most highly anticipated preliminary fights. The event will take place at the UFC Apex located in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. This will be an interesting fight as Nchikwi is not only one size larger than Park, but he also has a much greater reach. However, Park is a very fast fighter and he will no doubt put up a good fight.
How Did Tafon Nchikwi and Jun-Yong Park Get Here?
Tafon Nchikwi returns to the UFC octagon after an impressive win against Jamie Pickett at the Contender Series. In this fight, Nchikwi performed much better than Pickett, in which he obtained a score of 120 while his opponent only added 40 units.
Nchikwi is a very beefy fighter, so his UFC career will be full of matches against fighters who are much bigger than him. However, this fight will be the opposite of that as Park is smaller and has a shorter range of blows than him.

Jun-Yong Park had a difficult start inside the MMA octagon as he lost 3 of his first 6 fights. However, he managed to recover and achieve 7 consecutive victories, which led him to receive the call from the UFC to fight in their events.
His first fight inside the UFC octagon was against Anthony Hernandez, who defeated him with an anaconda choke in the second round. After that fight, he easily overcame Marc Andre Barriult who is considered one of the most awkward fighters in the UFC.
Park’s last fight took place in October 2020 when he defeated John Phillips by unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night: Ortega vs The Korean Zombie.
