Yair “El Pantera” Rodriguez, a well-known Mexican UFC competitor in the Featherweight division, is 28 years old and has been fighting in the octagon for 10 years. Yair started taekwondo when he was only 5 years old, and several years later he managed to start training in Judo and boxing with his cousin Misael “El Chino” Rodriguez, an Olympic boxing medalist.

With almost ten years of his career in MMA, Yair has a record of 15 fights with 13 wins, 4 by KO, and 2 defeats. He has been chosen as the performance of the night three times, along with the fight of the night four times. His last fight was on October 18, 2019, where he defeated American Jeremy Stephens by unanimous decision in the third round of the UFC: Reyes vs Weidman Event.
