Since both fighters last met in December 2019 for the belt, Usman<\/strong> has defended his strap three more times, including back-to-back knockouts heading into this rematch.

The champion looks more dominant with each fight he is put into, and his weight class domination has no hints of slowing down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why Bet on Colby Covington<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

We have only seen Covington<\/strong> fight once since getting stopped by Usman <\/strong>in the fifth round of a tightly contested battle.

However, that performance was a dominant one as he stopped former champion, Tyron Woodley, <\/strong>in the fifth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The word is that Covington <\/strong>has been preparing for this for a time, but there is not much else to compliment his road to the rematch<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With both fighters, Usman and Covington<\/strong>, having a strong wrestling base, things should be quite interesting, but on their first match, the ground game was nowhere to be seen, and things did favor the Reigning champion on the stand-up game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Things are looking to repeat if both fighters approach things with the same mentality.

Unless we get to see a lot more ground on this match, we should be expecting history to repeat itself, and get our betting pick, Kamaru Usman<\/strong> as the winner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rose Namajunas vs. Weili Zhang<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Why Bet on Rose Namajunas<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThug\u201d Rose Namajunas<\/strong> needed less than 90 seconds to score a head kick knockout and reclaim her championship against Zhang \u201cMagnum\u201d Weili<\/strong>, who defended the belt just once.

Thug<\/strong> is a very well-rounded fighter, relying much on her grappling skills on her rise to the top while showing off her striking skills more recently.

Her fight IQ is off the charts to go along with her ability to fight anywhere the fight plays out. That\u2019s why she\u2019s a two-time champion, beating some of the biggest names in the division\u2019s history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why Bet on Weili Zhang<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

That loss for Weili <\/strong>was the first since her pro debut back in 2013 and her first stoppage defeat.

She is now 21-2 with 17 stoppage victories, 10 by knockout, and seven by submission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She has big power in her strikes, almost loading up, but also does a great job throwing combinations rather than one shot at a time. Weili <\/strong>rarely backs down when she\u2019s in the pocket and her opponent engages with her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Final Betting Analysis: Namajunas vs. Zhang <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s not very often that we see an immediate rematch for a title after a first-round finish in the previous fight but that\u2019s what we get in this case.

The big difference between these two warriors is that Weili sits down a little bit more on her shots whereas Namajunas is extremely light on her feet and lightning-fast.

“Magnum<\/strong>” does her best work when she creates a dogfight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Putting that Fight IQ into play, we take “Thug” Rose <\/strong>as our betting pick, <\/strong>expecting her to be able to hold control of the distance just like their previous fight and defend her recently acquired title.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Justin Gaethje vs. Michael Chandler<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Why Bet on Justin Gaethje<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Gaethje<\/strong> has been inactive since his submission loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov<\/strong> last October.

“The<\/strong> Highlight<\/strong>” is violence personified when he enters the Octagon.

This is evident in his performance bonuses: He has nine in just eight UFC <\/strong>bouts, including five \u201cfight of the night\u201d performances.

Perhaps his most devastating weapon is his calf kick, which he throws early and often and with bad intentions.

He\u2019s impressed with those kicks as he can throw them in tight windows. When pressured, he bites down on his mouthpiece and swings heavy hands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why Bet on Michael Chandler<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIron\u201d Michael Chandle<\/strong>r lost his title shot against Charles Oliveira via knockout in May, after an impressive debut against Dan Hooker<\/strong>.

Chandler <\/strong>has been in the UFC <\/strong>for a pretty short time but has sent a shockwave due to his skill and being able to compete with the very top of the division.

Opponents must be aware of his grappling pedigree, which also allows him to set up and land his extremely powerful hands.

He does a great job backing his foes against the cage but usually as a counter-strike, using his pressure to draw out an attack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Final Betting Analysis: Gaethje vs. Chandler <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The last two title challengers in, arguably, the organization\u2019s toughest division will collide with aspirations of returning to a lightweight championship bout.

This match is exciting, with both fighters being excellent wrestlers, but one in the offensive and the other in defensive departments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Things favor Gaethje<\/strong> on the feet and Chandler<\/strong> on the ground, but they can both fight in both areas if required, and even surprise the other at any point.

We take Gaethje<\/strong> as our betting pick due to his versatile striking and great wrestling defense, as it could prove the key to stopping Chandler’s<\/strong> game plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
