HIC Pipe Pro 2021 Surf LATAM Contenders<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The 2021 season of the World Surf League<\/strong> is ending; with it, the last events of the year are about to begin. One of them, the HIC Pipe Pro Qualifying Series<\/strong> (QS<\/strong>), will give a total of 1000 points for the world championship. This event will take place December 8-20, 2021 on the beautiful beaches of Banzai Pipeline, Oahu, Hawaii<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some of the best surfers <\/a>in the world (men and women) will meet in the heavy waves of\u00a0Pipeline<\/strong>; as well as many regional surfers who want to show their quality against the best in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is the first that female surfers will meet in\u00a0Pipeline<\/strong>\u00a0in the\u00a0Qualifying Series<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0since 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Leo Casal<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    The Brazilian surfer Leo Casal<\/strong> was born in the city of Florian\u00f3polis, Santa Catarina, Brazil,<\/strong> and made his professional debut in the world of surfing in 2017 in the Men\u2019s JUN<\/strong> category. Casal<\/strong> is currently #98 in the 2020 Men’s QS<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Leo Casal<\/strong> has not had the good year 2021, but, in the same way, he managed to obtain third place in the Corona Salinas Open presented by Hyundai New Tucson 2022<\/strong>, in which Jo\u00e3o Chianca<\/strong> defeated him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Ryan Kainalo<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      On the other hand, another Brazilian surfer who also made his debut in the Men’s JUN<\/strong> category in 2017, Ryan Kainalo<\/strong>, was born in Ubatuba, Brazil<\/strong>, on February 16, 2016. Kainalo<\/strong> is #337 in the QS world rankings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Ryan’s <\/strong>year 2021 has been normal, he managed to obtain third place in the Azores Airlines Pro<\/strong> and fifth place in the Corona Salinas Open presented by Hyundai New Tucson 2022<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • Brisa Hennessy<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        We all know the quality of the Costa Rican Brisa Hennessy<\/strong>, which is ranked # 15 in the CT in 2021. Despite this, Hennessy<\/strong> has not managed to have a good 2021 season, since it has not managed to surpass ninth place in any of the competitions that he has participated in. As for the Women\u2019s QS<\/strong>, the only event that has participated in this 2021 is in the Nissan Super Girl Surf Pro<\/strong> where it was ranked 17.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        • Carissa Moore<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          On the other hand, the best surfer in the world, Carissa Moore<\/strong> comes to this HIC Pipe Pro<\/strong> with the firm conviction of proving that all the excellent results she has obtained in this year 2021 are no coincidence. Moore<\/strong> has managed to obtain first place in the following events in this year 2021 Rip Curl Newcastle Cup presented by Corona<\/strong>, Rip Curl WSL Finals<\/strong> and, second place in the following events Maui Pro presented by ROXY at Pipeline, Jeep Surf Ranch Pro presented by Adobe<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
