Christopher Paul Daukaus<\/strong>\u00a0is an American\u00a0MMA\u00a0<\/strong>artist and police officer born on September 25, 1989. Currently, he competes in the Heavyweight division of the\u00a0Ultimate Fighting Championship<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is the older brother of fellow\u00a0UFC <\/a>fighter Kyle Daukaus<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As of September 27, 2021, he is #7 in the UFC heavyweight rankings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 He started training in mixed martial arts a year before enrolling in the police academy to fill the void of sports and competition after high school and to follow in the footsteps of his father who was also a police officer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Daukaus <\/strong>made his UFC <\/strong>debut on nine days’ notice against Parker Porter<\/strong> on August 15, 2020, at UFC 252<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    He won by stoppage in the first round after a series of punches and a knee-dropped Porter<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Daukaus vs. Nascimento:<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Daukaus <\/strong>faced Rodrigo Nascimento<\/strong> on October 11, 2020 at UFC Fight Night: Moraes vs. Sandhagen<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      He won the bout via knockout in round one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      This win earned him the Performance of the Night award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Daukaus <\/strong>faced Aleksei Oleinik<\/strong> on February 20, 2021 at UFC Fight Night: Blaydes vs. Lewis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        He won the fight via TKO in round one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        This win earned him the Performance of the Night award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        • Daukaus vs. Abdurakhimov:<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          Daukaus <\/strong>had to face Shamil Abdurakhimov <\/strong>at UFC <\/strong>on ESPN: Sandhagen vs. Dillashaw<\/strong>. But the matchup would be cancel due to COVID-19 protocols within Abdurakhimov’s <\/strong>camp. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

          The bout was rescheduled to take place at UFC <\/strong>on ESPN: Hall vs. Strickland<\/strong> on July 31, 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          However, the bout was postponed for unknown reasons to UFC 266<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Daukaus <\/strong>won the fight via technical knockout in round two.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
