On this day 10 of the final round of the\u00a0CONCACAF qualifiers for the Qatar 2022 World Cup<\/a><\/strong>, we were able to enjoy the match between\u00a0Mexico and Costa Rica<\/strong>, two teams that, although they are experiencing completely different realities, must win as many games as they can to achieve the goal of getting the ticket to\u00a0Qatar<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although Mexico<\/strong> indeed continues to demonstrate its supremacy in some moments of the game, they still have many difficulties to solve. Despite this, they continue in the third and last place that grants a place for the next World Cup<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Costa Rica<\/strong> should win the remaining 4 games if they want to get, at least, their pass to the intercontinental playoff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mexico<\/strong> started the game with everything, from minute 3, with Chucky Lozano<\/strong> leading the offense with a tremendous shot that almost became the first Mexican goal of the night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although Mexico<\/strong> was the owner of the ball and, practically in the game, Costa Rica<\/strong> was not far behind, taking advantage of every space left by the Mexican defense to cause danger in the area defended by Ochoa<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Almost in the 10th minute, Ochoa<\/strong> was the hero for Mexico<\/strong>, since he managed to get a ball that was practically at the bottom of the net, after a shot by Mart\u00ednez<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At minute 32, after an excellent play, Funes Mori <\/strong>managed to score the first goal of the game, which was later disallowed for being in an advanced position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After approaches by both teams, the first half of the game ended without annotations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the beginning of the second half, Mexico<\/strong> continued to dominate Costa Rica<\/strong>, who were looking to score the goal that could give them a victory that would help them in their aspirations to attend the next World Cup<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although Mexico<\/strong> was on top of Costa Rica<\/strong> throughout the second half, they could not make any of the dangerous plays they had and, the desperation was until the end of the game, where we observed the DT, Tata Martino<\/strong> discussing with the coaching staff of Costa Rica<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
