Luis Romo Barr\u00f3n\u00a0<\/strong>is a Mexican soccer player born on June 5, 1995, in\u00a0Ahome<\/strong>, a town in\u00a0Sinaloa, Mexico<\/strong>. Currently, he plays for\u00a0Monterrey<\/strong>\u00a0in the\u00a0Mexican Soccer League<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>in the Midfielder position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First Years<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

His beginnings were in the Quer\u00e9taro Futbol Club<\/strong>; a team with which he signed his first contract as a professional and remained during the beginning of his career. Although his first team was the inferior team of Cruz Azul<\/strong>; Luis Romo <\/strong>only lasted a few months and went to Quer\u00e9taro<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His first important games were in 2012, where he debuted with the Quer\u00e9taro U-17 <\/strong>team. Then, thanks to the fact that his progress was remarkable, Romo<\/strong> was climbing in the different divisions of the club. Finally, he became part of the team in the second division of Mexican soccer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After 3 seasons wearing the Quer\u00e9taro<\/strong> shirt, Luis Romo<\/strong> makes his signing for Cruz Azul<\/strong> official in 2020, to play in the Clausura<\/strong> tournament that season. His debut with the Cruz Azu<\/strong>l team was on matchday 2 of the championship, a match where his team lost 1-2 against Atl\u00e9tico San Luis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Luis Romo<\/strong> manages to score his first goal in the Cruz Azul<\/strong> ranks on the third day of the Torneo Clausura<\/strong> against Santos Laguna<\/strong>, contributing to the final score of 3-0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to his excellent performances in the seasons he played with Quer\u00e9taro<\/strong>, Luis Romo<\/strong> earned the right to represent his country, when Tata Martino<\/strong> called him up for the CONCACAF Nations League<\/strong>, making his debut against the Panama<\/strong> team playing the 90 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
