We return to the beautiful beaches of\u00a0Phillip Island<\/strong>\u00a0in this new event of the\u00a0World Surf League 2022<\/a><\/strong>, where we can enjoy the amazing acrobatics of highly qualified and professional surfers, as well as the young regional and national promises, who are looking for a contract with some recognized brand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\u00a0Phillip Island Pro QS1000<\/strong>\u00a0is one of the most popular surfing <\/a>events held in\u00a0Australia<\/strong>, but its main focus is on serving as a platform to showcase all the young surfers who want to make themselves known in the world; as well as helping regional surfers to win shooting in professional surfing. While the\u00a0Cape Woolamai<\/strong>\u00a0beaches are the main attraction, we also have\u00a0Flynn’s Reef, Right Point, and Surfies Point<\/strong>\u00a0which will also be big at this event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Phillip Island Pro QS1000<\/strong> will be from 10-13 February 2022 on the beautiful beaches of Cape Woolamai, Phillip Island, Australia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Jacob Willcox<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Australian Jacob Willcox<\/strong> arrives at this Phillip Island Pro QS1000<\/strong> ranked #5 in the WSL Regional Rank in Australia<\/strong>. Willcox<\/strong> comes from having a very active 2021 season, participating in different events in all categories, but, without a doubt, the QS<\/strong> was the division where he managed to participate in most tournaments. His best finish was 9th place in the Oakberry Tweed Coast Pro<\/strong>, where he scored 1750QS<\/strong> and was beaten by Jackson Baker<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Dylan Moffat<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Another very good Australian surfer who will be present at this\u00a0Phillip Island Pro QS1000<\/strong>\u00a0is\u00a0Dylan Moffat<\/strong>.\u00a0Moffat<\/strong>\u00a0was #82 in the\u00a0Men\u2019s QS 2020<\/strong>. Last year was a very good one for\u00a0Moffat<\/strong>, where he managed to show his full potential in different\u00a0QS<\/strong>\u00a0events in which he participated.\u00a0Moffat<\/strong>\u00a0had several good results, but the best is, without a doubt, the first place in the\u00a0Mad Mex Maroubra Pro<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • Sophie McCulloch<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        While in the women’s division we have one of the best young Australian surfers of the moment, Sophie McCulloch<\/strong>. Sophie<\/strong> managed to have a very good year in 2021, where she achieved 3 excellent results in the 5 QS<\/strong> events she participated in. A second place in the Great Lakes Pro<\/strong>, third place in the Oakberry Tweed Coast Pro<\/strong>, and second place in the Mad Mex Maroubra Pro.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        • Zahli Kelly<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          Finally, we have another Australian surfer who has also had outstanding performances and, in 2021, she was riding the waves in a great way, Zahli Kelly<\/strong>. This young surfer participated in 5 important events in the women’s QS<\/strong> in 2021, where her best performance was in the Oakberry Tweed Coast Pro<\/strong>, where she got second place and was defeated by Molly Picklum<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
