Neyman Gracie vs. Logan Storley<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Our Pick: Neyman Gracie<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Outcome: Logan Storley gets the upset with a unanimous decision win.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

As it usually happens when two high-level grapplers meet, the fight remained standing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Storley <\/strong>managed to control the stand-up fight with a clear advantage, clearly taking the first two rounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gracie <\/strong>managed to return the favor and put pressure on the 3rd and 4rth round, letting things figure themselves out in the fifth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a heavily contested fifth round, things went in favor of the American fighter, who got his hand raised in the end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andrei Koreshkov vs. Chance Recountre<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Outcome:<\/strong> Koreshkov smokes Recountre with a Spinning back kick and punches TKO.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Seeking to make it three straight wins (and two in the Bellator cage),\u00a0Koreshkov\u00a0<\/strong>was paired up with\u00a0UFC\u00a0<\/strong>alumni\u00a0Chance Rencountre<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Rencountre<\/strong>, it was a short-notice assignment, after Mukhamed Berkhamov<\/strong> dropped out of the bout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the end, it didn\u2019t last long as Rencountre <\/strong>folded quickly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Koreshkov <\/strong>drilled him with a spinning back kick to the ribs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rencountre <\/strong>tried to hit a body lock on Koreshkov <\/strong>immediately after the blow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was unable to, as his body was already shutting down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once the man hit the canvas, Koreshkov <\/strong>moved in for the kill. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A couple of follow-up strikes later, and the ref dove in to make the save.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Georgi Karakhasyan vs. Adam Piccolotti<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Our Pick: Adam Piccolotti<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Outcome: Piccolotti dominated the fight for a unanimous decision.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

After 3 rounds, Piccolotti <\/strong>managed to get the favor of all judges, managing to take two cards with a 29-28 score, and one of the judges gave him a 30-27.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to his control of the pace and distance, he managed to keep his momentum going forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Davion Franklin vs. Said Sowma<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Our Pick: Davion Franklin<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Outcome: Davion Franklin gets the victory in a Split Decision.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Davion Franklin<\/strong> was on the attack early on each round this Saturday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He backed Sowma <\/strong>up along the cage, firing a sidekick as Sowma <\/strong>circled out of harm\u2019s way. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Franklin <\/strong>once again came out swinging for the fences to start round two.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

his kicks seemed to have everything behind them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sowma <\/strong>would catch Franklin <\/strong>early in the third, but Franklin <\/strong>answered back. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Franklin <\/strong>appeared to have slowed a step in the final round, but his power was a threat during the whole fight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If there was a path to victory for Sowma<\/strong>, it was winning the small battles, and grinding away on the powerhouse Franklin<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But at the end of the round, it was Franklin <\/strong>landing on top for a takedown, and throughout the fight, his power was a constant factor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It likely proved to be the deciding factor as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Aftermath – Storley is on the path to a title fight.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Our predictions landed 3 out of 4 matches correctly, and with an exciting fight like the one we had on the main event taking place, there is no reason to be angry about getting it wrong. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
