Villarreal<\/strong> arrived with tremendous confidence and wanted to take advantage of their home status in this first leg. But, Villarreal <\/strong>was not far behind, they managed to react spectacularly and create several clear scoring chances that, in the end, could not end in goals.

Lo Celso <\/strong>managed a shot at the post, Arnaut Danjuma <\/strong>had another clear goal chance that was cleared by Juventus’ goalkeeper Szczesny<\/strong>. Almost reaching the end of the first half, Albiol<\/strong> managed to cover a dangerous shot from Juventus<\/strong>, preventing the second goal from falling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Second Half<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The second half began with an onslaught from Juventus<\/strong> that almost resulted in a goal from Alvaro Morata <\/strong>when his shot passed very close to the Villarreal<\/strong> area.

It wasn’t until minute 66 when thanks to an excellent pass from\u00a0Capoue<\/strong>\u00a0to\u00a0Dani Parejo<\/strong>, which dislodged the\u00a0Juventus\u00a0<\/strong>defense, that\u00a0Villarreal\u00a0<\/strong>managed to tie the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both teams continued their intense attacks and, failing to get the goal that would give them the lead on the board, we could see two desperate teams in front of the goal.

Neither of the two teams achieved the task, although they got an important draw and there is still a game to play, Villarreal<\/strong> have to go out and kill or die in Turin<\/strong> to try to score goals early and continue with the dream of being in the quarterfinals of the Champions League<\/strong>.

While Juventus<\/strong> is still a very dangerous and difficult team to beat when playing at home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
