Arturo Alfonso Gonz\u00e1lez<\/strong> is a Mexican soccer player who was born on September 5, 1994, in Reynosa<\/strong>, Tamaulipas, Mexico<\/strong>. Gonz\u00e1lez <\/strong>currently plays as a midfielder for CF Monterrey<\/strong> in the Liga MX<\/a><\/strong>.

The beginnings for Arturo Gonz\u00e1lez<\/strong>, nicknamed Poncho <\/strong>by his teammates, were in the lower categories of Atlas<\/strong> in 2009. When he was only 15 years old he was part of the sub-15, sub-17, and later sub-20 teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout his career,\u00a0Arturo “Poncho” Gonz\u00e1lez<\/strong>\u00a0has not been a prolific goal scorer. However, his good handling of the ball has kept him in the Mexican first division.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In that same season, he played a match against Jaguares<\/strong>; these two being his only appearances in the 2012 closing tournament.

After the 2012-13 season, where he played 9 games and scored 1 goal, Gonz\u00e1lez<\/strong> managed to establish himself in the middle of the Atlas<\/strong> field, being one of the team’s main references until 2016, when he was transferred to CF Monterrey<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Monterrey<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

On July 10, 2016, Gonz\u00e1lez<\/strong> made his debut for CF Monterrey <\/strong>in a match where they were paying tribute to Humberto \u201cChupete\u201d Suazo<\/strong>. Then he entered the game from the bench and scored his first goal in a Monterrey jersey.

Since then, he has been one of the essential players of each of the coaches who have passed through the Monterrey<\/strong> bench, prove to that is that he is one of the players who has played the most games for Rayados since he arrived at the club.
