The Cheltenham Gold Cup Each<\/strong> is a Grade 1<\/strong> European horse race<\/a><\/strong> made each year at the New Course<\/strong>. This is a beautiful grass racecourse in Cheltenham, England<\/strong>. This track has a distance of 3 miles and 2 \u00bd furlongs and, throughout its length, there are 22 fences to jump. This race is very popular and takes place every March at the Cheltenham Festival<\/strong>.

This is a steeplechase and is open to horses 5 years and older and is the most prestigious race of all the National Hunt <\/strong>events. Among the most prestigious horses that have achieved victory in this race, we have Arkle, Best Mate, Golden Miller, Kauto Star, Denman, and Mill House<\/strong>.

This Gold Cup<\/strong> is Great Britain’s most valuable race and is handicap free. This year the prize pool is set to increase considerably from last season and is going to reach \u00a3625,000; second only to the Randox Grand National<\/strong>.
