The Mexican team got its direct ticket to the Qatar 2022 World Cup<\/strong>, after beating El Salvado<\/strong>r 2-0 at the Azteca Stadium<\/strong>, on the last date of the CONCACAF World Cup Qualifying<\/strong>, finishing in second place in the octagonal end.

With this victory, Mexico<\/strong> will participate for the seventeenth time in a fair of this nature. It’s important to notice that it has not been absent since the United States 1994<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mexico<\/strong> changed its lineup in some of its pieces for this game. Although DT Tata Martino<\/strong> announced that he would play with the best he has; he was not going to play with his heart, thinking about those who could be sanctioned at the start of the World Cup<\/a><\/strong> if he qualified in this match, as he did.

Martino<\/strong> started Uriel Antuna<\/strong> and Alexis Vega<\/strong> accompanying Ra\u00fal Jim\u00e9nez<\/strong>, seeking to give dynamics to the Mexican<\/strong> offense. In the first half, Mexico<\/strong> controlled the match without difficulty. Uriel Antuna<\/strong> took advantage of the ownership to become the key piece for the Tricolor<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once again having as one of the key players at the end of Cruz Azul, Uriel Antuna<\/strong>, who with an overflow reached the bottom line on the right sector with the coverage of defender Ronald Gonz\u00e1lez<\/strong>, who with a sweep wanted to strip him of the ball. He ended up committing a foul inside the area, which the referee signaled as a penalty.

The second half was everything for Mexico<\/strong>, but, having the ball at their feet for almost the entire match, they managed to maintain this 2-0 result without risking what could be their direct qualification to Qatar 2022<\/strong>.

Finally, Mexico<\/strong> achieved its pass, as we all expected for this World Cup, <\/strong>and joined Canada<\/strong> and the United States <\/strong>as the direct qualified for CONCACAF<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
