The Zurich Classic of New Orleans <\/strong>is a professional golf tournament that belongs to the annual calendar of the PGA Tour<\/strong>, which is held in Avondale, Louisiana, USA. This prestigious event debuted on the PGA Tour<\/strong> 84 years ago, specifically in 1938, and was it has been held annually since 1958. Zurich Insurance Group is the main sponsor of the event, and it is organized by the Fore!Kids Foundation.

In the year 2017, the Zurich Classic <\/strong>became a team tournament, with eighty teams of two. For the selection of the first member of the team, the positions in the world rankings of the PGA Tour<\/strong> are taken into account, and his partner must be a member of the PGA Tour<\/strong> or gain entry through a sponsor exemption.
