The 5 teams on the top are feeling comfortable as they have stood out from the rest of the scoreboard, having a lead of at least 5 victories over the rest of the teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the helm are the leaders of the AL East Division, with now a 64-28 record; the NY Yankees<\/strong> who are constantly tearing their opponents apart on the field. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Yankees <\/strong>have the mark of winning 120 games in the season right on their crosshairs and it seems like they will not stop until they reach it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second place on the scoreboards has to be the NL West leaders; the Los Angeles Dodgers<\/strong> who intend on closing the gap to the Yankees<\/strong>, with a 60 – 32 record so far.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Houston Astros <\/strong>continue their strong lead in the AL West division, and The Mets <\/strong>are close to the top as they helm the NL East Division, but they have The Braves<\/strong> right behind them at a dangerous distance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, this week we get some series that could ensure these top teams take a bigger leap or even change the current top 5 placements by the time we go to bed on Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Orioles<\/strong> are the team at the bottom of the AL East, but they are still doing a decent season with 46 wins and 46 losses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thankfully, the Orioles<\/strong> will be hosting the series, which is the spot they are the strongest, so we will get more than just a lamb sent to slaughter on these games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This might be their chance as they meet a fellow NL West team in the Giants<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
