The Matchday 7 of the Torneo Apertura of Liga MX<\/strong> was played and there is a new leader since Toluca <\/strong>went on to command the table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Red Devils took advantage of the defeat of Tigres <\/strong>and, thanks to their 3-1 victory against Tijuana<\/strong>, they stayed at the top of the tournament with 17 points. Carlos Gonz\u00e1lez, Jean Meneses and Camilo Sanvezzo scored for the winners, while Edgar L\u00f3pez scored for the Xolos, who are eighth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For their part, Tigres <\/strong>dropped to third place after their 2-0 loss to Pachuca<\/strong>. The Felines were one man down at 14 minutes after Jes\u00fas Angulo’s red card. In the duel between the teams at the bottom, the winner was Atlas<\/strong>. The Foxes did not mind playing with one less after the expulsion of Hugo Nervo at 33 minutes and they beat Quer\u00e9taro <\/strong>3-1. Luis Reyes, Jonathan Herrera, and Juli\u00e1n Qui\u00f1ones scored for the two-time champions who are now 13th. The White Roosters, for their part, are last with only two points, and together with Chivas, <\/strong>they are the only teams that have not been able to win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Precisely those from Guadalajara fell again, this time against Mazatl\u00e1n <\/strong>in another game at the bottom of the table.
