Matchday 8 of the\u00a0Torneo Apertura<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>was played, which had several agonizing results, but there were not many significant changes in the table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Toluca <\/strong>continues to lead the tournament after a great and hard-fought victory against Cruz Azul<\/strong> by 2-3 with a penalty goal by Camilo Sanvezzo at minute 90+8. Los Xolos were 3-1 at minute 84 with goals from Edgar L\u00f3pez, Lucas Rodr\u00edguez and Lisandro L\u00f3pez, but Jozy Altidore at 85′ and Israel Reyes with a header at 90+9′ made it 3-3 in the end. America <\/strong>stayed with the Capitalino classic and caused the first defeat of the tournament to Pumas<\/strong>, who was the only remaining unbeaten team, with a resounding 0-3. Diego Vald\u00e9s, Jonathan Rodr\u00edguez and Alejandro Zendejas scored the goals for las Aguilas that got into playoff positions by taking out los Felinos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
