They faced a renewed, motivated, and growing\u00a0Manchester United<\/strong>\u00a0in the league: 3-1 to the Red Devils. Even with the defeat,\u00a0Arsenal\u00a0<\/strong>remained at the top of the table with 15 points, while\u00a0United\u00a0<\/strong>reached fifth place with 12 points after 4 straight wins in the\u00a0PL<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Manchester City<\/strong>, the team that has scored the most goals so far in the Premier League<\/strong> (20), failed to score more than one against Aston Villa<\/strong> to secure the victory and drew the match, 1-1, with the hosts. Pep Guardiola’s team remains in second place, adding 14 points and going on in pursuit of Arsenal<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tottenham <\/strong>beat Fulham <\/strong>2-1 and won third place in the table, having scored 12 goals and conceded 5.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In fourth place, Brighton <\/strong>returned to their positive streak and made it 5-2 at Leicester <\/strong>(20th), remaining at the top of the table, contrary to experts’ predictions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chelsea <\/strong>reached 10 points after beating West Ham<\/strong> 2-1 in a very even game at Stamford Bridge<\/strong>. Coach Thomas Tuchel’s team conceded nine goals and scored eight. They need to improve their defense if they want to fight for the Premier League title<\/strong> this season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Premier League Matchday 6<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Liverpool<\/strong>, who were coming off two straight wins, could not get out of the 0-0 draw against\u00a0Everton<\/strong>, reaching only a humble ninth place in the\u00a0Premier League<\/a><\/strong>, while their last opponent was in 16th place – a position well below the club’s expectations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

West Ham, Nottingham Forest, and Leicester<\/strong> are the three worst teams in the competition and, if we add up their points (9), they would only be in seventh place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The dispute remains intense and Arsenal <\/strong>seems to be the main challenger for Manchester City’s title.
