Am\u00e9rica<\/strong> has played one game less than Monterrey<\/strong>, so it is in their hands to stay in first place at the table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guadalajara<\/strong>, a team that has had a spectacular second half of the season and is now only 6 points behind third place in the table, must now be added to the fight for the first four places in the standings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the lower middle of the table, we will have many battles to get into the top 12 to secure a playoff spot, most of the teams have a chance to advance and this makes the games much more electrifying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, we have Quer\u00e9taro<\/strong>, already resigned and thinking about the next tournament, and the surprises of Atlas and Cruz Azul<\/strong>, whose level of play continues to drop with each passing day, and it already seems impossible that they will be able to advance to the playoffs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cruz Azul<\/strong> came close to springing a surprise in Monterrey, but the visitors were unable to stop Rayados’ offense and at least let the tie slip away at the BBVA Stadium<\/strong>, meaning that they will remain in the basement of the general classification table and their chances of making the Playoffs are going away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After an intense dominance at the start of the match, Monterrey<\/strong> was able to open the scoring in the 17th minute thanks to a goal by Jes\u00fas Gallardo. Eleven minutes later, after a shot from outside the area by Luis Romo that was deflected by Funes Mori, Monterrey<\/strong> managed to score the 2-0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cruz Azul<\/strong> woke up after the second blow and, two minutes later, they managed to score the 1-2 thanks to a very good goal by Carlos Rotondi. With this result, both teams went to the break.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second half did not look good for Cruz Azul<\/strong>, but the awakening of Uriel Antuna was present, and he equalized the match 2-2 in the 49th minute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From that moment on, it was a different game, Cruz Azul<\/strong> could have been on top of Monterrey<\/strong> with Antuna as the top player, but in the 65th minute, Germ\u00e1n Berterame scored the definitive goal to give his team the victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this result, Monterrey<\/strong> remains at the top of the standings, while Cruz Azul<\/strong> continues to sink to the bottom of the overall standings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tigres<\/strong> achieved their fifth victory at the Universitario Stadium<\/strong>, after defeating Toluca<\/strong> 3-1 in the match on the thirteenth date, keeping them in the fight for the top spots in the general classification of the Liga MX Apertura 2022 Tournament<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a match in which Luis Qui\u00f1ones was the star player on the field for Tigres<\/strong>, the home team started with the best possible level of play, persistently seeking to open the scoreboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Persistence allowed Tigres<\/strong> to take the lead at minute 40 with a goal by Sebasti\u00e1n C\u00f3rdova, who took a free kick and sent the ball into the corner of the net to make the score 1-0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although Toluca<\/strong> tried to pressure and hurt Tigres<\/strong>, they were unable to do so and, at minute 62, Andr\u00e9-Pierre Gignac made it 2-0 for his team. Toluca<\/strong>, however, managed to respond immediately and, four minutes later, scored a goal via Jean Meneses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The team coached by Miguel Herrera increased the difference to 3-1 at the 80-minute mark, thanks to a fabulous goal by Florian Thauvin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this result, Tigres<\/strong> broke the string of six consecutive defeats and is once again in the fight for the direct playoff places, while Toluca<\/strong> is still winless and dropped to sixth place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As we had predicted in our preview of this\u00a0Liga MX matchday 13<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0Club Am\u00e9rica\u00a0<\/strong>continues unstoppable and achieved an excellent victory with a score of 3-0 to add its eighth consecutive victory and consolidate its position at the top of the standings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the first minutes of the match, Am\u00e9rica <\/strong>suffered with a rival that came out to play a rustic and complicated game, but, in the end, they were widely superior and achieved a comfortable victory. After this victory, Am\u00e9rica <\/strong>remains at the top of the standings, equal with Monterrey<\/strong>, while Atl\u00e9tico San Luis <\/strong>is in danger of leaving the playoff positions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
