For their part, Chivas de Guadalajara<\/strong> took advantage of this weekend to move closer to the TOP 4<\/strong> of the standings, which they could enter the following week if the results go in their favor again.

Cruz Azul, Pumas, and Atlas<\/strong> remain at the bottom of the table. The current two-time Mexican soccer champions, Atlas<\/strong>, are on the verge of losing their playoff chances after another defeat on matchday 14.

The goals in this historic victory for Am\u00e9rica<\/strong> were scored by Jonathan dos Santos and Roger Mart\u00ednez, achieving the best winning streak in the team’s history.

The duel started uphill for Am\u00e9rica<\/strong>, which conceded an early goal to put the club’s historic mark in doubt, through Facundo Batista in the 8th minute.

Am\u00e9rica<\/strong> did not find themselves in the first half and went to the break at the disadvantage at the Victoria Stadium<\/strong> in Aguascalientes.

The second half was completely different, Am\u00e9rica<\/strong> went out to get a victory at any cost, and they did. The equalizer came with an authentic goal by Jonathan dos Santos in the 58th minute.

In the 74th minute, after many attacks, they managed to score the second and final goal through Roger Mart\u00ednez.

Quer\u00e9taro<\/strong> started the match with quick possession of the ball; however, it was to be the Laguneros who took the lead with a mid-distance shot by Harold Preciado in the 25th minute.

From that point on, the match became a back-and-forth affair in which the locals managed to equalize the score in the 31st minute thanks to a goal by Angel Sep\u00falveda.

Before the end of the first half, Quer\u00e9taro<\/strong> took the lead thanks to a goal scored by Juan Romagnoli at minute 44.

At the start of the second half, Santos <\/strong>equalized in the 47th minute through Leonardo Su\u00e1rez. The rhythm of the match was broken in the 74th minute by Ettson Ay\u00f3n, who scored his first goal of the tournament and gave Quer\u00e9taro <\/strong>another chance to dream of another victory.
