After 20 matchdays over 4 weeks, we are done with the Group Stage of the\u00a0CS:GO ESL Pro League<\/a><\/strong>, and we have all the results in each group and are ready to see the playoffs kick-off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let’s begin by talking about each of the groups and what happened during each week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Group A:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Vitality <\/strong>leads the group head and shoulders above the rest with 15 points and a +40 round spread, with Fnatic <\/strong>coming in second 6 points and 4 rounds behind. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The last team to qualify was NaVi<\/strong>, who squeaked through despite losing three matches simply by their better round differential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Group B:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

G2 <\/strong>was in some ways the surprise package of the group as they finished in first place with five wins. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even more impressive, they didn\u2019t drop a single map in doing so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FaZe <\/strong>is ranked the best team in the world, and their game against G2 <\/strong>was essentially a show match, with G2 <\/strong>already qualified and FaZe <\/strong>certain to when facing BIG <\/strong>in their final game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Outsiders <\/strong>looked great in their Group B showing, falling only to FaZe and G2<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They even took a map off FaZe<\/strong>, which is quite impressive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Group C:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Complexity <\/strong>seems as a changed team with the addition of hallzerk. The Norwegian is delivering a bite on the AWP that the team was lacking before, and it\u2019s improving them across the board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Third place in the group is an incredible achievement considering this team\u2019s recent history. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

MOUZ <\/strong>has seemingly completed its run of academy promotions after promoting Dorian \u201cxertioN\u201d Berman before the event. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s starting to become seriously impressive how this team can keep promoting the youngsters and improve every time, rather than come to regret it months later. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finishing first in the group is considered to be \u2018exceeding expectations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Things are finally starting to click for Heroic <\/strong>with Jakob \u201cJabbi\u201d Nygaard. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They finished second in the group after winning four games following their loss in the opener to MOUZ<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

That run included beating Astralis <\/strong>to knock them out of the tournament. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Group D:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Group D <\/strong>kept things interesting, as the fate of the third qualifier was decided on the last match on the last day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cloud9 <\/strong>managed to score the top a day in advance, getting 4 straight wins, and making their way to the quarterfinals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FURIA <\/strong>surprised most as they took second place with little resistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was Team Liquid<\/strong> that had everyone worried, as they were the top seed of the group and they had to fight their way to the 3rd spot in their last match to qualify.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CS:GO ESL Pro League Playoffs Preview:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

With the Round of 12 on the way, we have 4 teams already in the quarterfinals at the top of their respective Groups, and things will be interesting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q1<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Cloud9 <\/strong>scored the Quarterfinal and is going to face the winner between FaZe Clan and Complexity<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This should be a fun match, but we are thinking that FaZe <\/strong>is going to land the quarterfinal, and may even land their way smoothly to the Semifinals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q2<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The second quarterfinal has MOUZ <\/strong>waiting for their next opponent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The match to decide that is Fnatic vs. Team Liquid<\/strong>, and our pick leans towards Liquid making it to the Quarterfinals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Liquid vs. Mouz match<\/strong> would be interesting as it would test MOUZ’s shape and form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q3<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

G2 Esports<\/strong> awaits the winner between Natus Vincere and Heroic<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are positive about NaVi <\/strong>making it to the quarterfinals to see if G2 <\/strong>is as good as they are shown on the stage group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We may just side with NaVi <\/strong>to make it to the semi-finals though.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q4<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

FURIA Esports and Outsiders<\/strong> will duke it out to see who gets to the last Quarterfinal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the end, we believe it matters little, as Team Vitality <\/strong>will be able to handle any of these two teams to reach the Semi-finals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
