The MLB calendar<\/strong>\u00a0has reached its most interesting point, the playoffs in its 2022 edition with many teams in top form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are now entering the Wild Card Series<\/strong> to go right into the last games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the action from Tuesday, Oct. 4 between playoff teams concluded, we know now for certain that the games on the final day of the regular season are all meaningless in terms of the playoff field. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each of the 12 teams was already clinched heading into Tuesday, then the Braves<\/strong> clinched the NL East and results for the last two wild-card teams on both sides of the bracket settled the matchups. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Wild Card Series<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0will be three games all in the same ballpark with no travel.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There won’t be re-seeding, either, and it is a locked bracket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The individual game times haven’t been assigned yet, but we know all four Wild Card Series will be played Friday, and Saturday and, if necessary, the clinching Game 3 would be played Sunday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The winner of the\u00a0Rays-Guardians\u00a0series<\/strong> faces\u00a0the Yankees<\/strong>\u00a0in the ALDS while the winner of\u00a0the Mariners-Blue Jays\u00a0<\/strong>heads to Houston.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Byes:<\/strong> No. 1 Los Angeles Dodgers and No. 2 Atlanta Braves<\/li>
    • Wild Card Series:<\/strong> No. 5. San Diego Padres at No. 4 New York Mets<\/li>
    • Wild Card Series:<\/strong> No. 6. Philadelphia Phillies at No. 3 St. Louis Cardinals<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      The winner of the Padres-Mets<\/strong> gets the Dodgers in the NLDS while the winner of the Phillies-Cardinals series<\/strong> gets the defending champions Braves<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Game 1 of all four divisional series will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 11.<\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
