Atl\u00e9tico Goianiense would need to win their last game and take a six-goal difference to escape and put Cuiab\u00e1 in the relegation zone – a very unlikely situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As usual, the last rounds of the Brasileir\u00e3o are essential only for those teams that are still looking to escape relegation or that are still fighting for classification in some continental competition the following year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flamengo, for example, who won two important titles in the season, faced Juventude, the last place in the Brasileir\u00e3o, and only drew 2-2, scoring their goal in the last minute of the second half. The team no longer had any reason to play a serious game, as their main players had already gone on vacation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Palmeiras, however, despite having already been declared champions two rounds ago, faced Am\u00e9rica Mineiro seriously and won 2-1,\u00a0seeking a points record in the Brasileir\u00e3o<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The most impressive game of the round was between Fortaleza and Red Bull Bragantino, in which the home team applied a historic 6-0 rout. Atl\u00e9tico Mineiro and Botafogo, who played yesterday, won their games by 3-0 and are still in the fight for classification for the Libertadores<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
