The emotions of the Premier League continue, and we are reaching the last three rounds of the 2022\/23 season. However, the most exciting thing of all is that, for now, nothing is definite regarding the tournament’s champion. But it is worth noting that Manchester City and Arsenal secured their places in the next Champions League.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the other hand, we have a very nice battle between several teams for the next two places in the next Champions League, which will be defined in the last days of the season, there is no doubt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then we have that in the lower part of the table, there is also a great battle, as there is still no certainty about which three teams will be relegated to the second division next season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Manchester City fulfilled its matchday 35 of the Premier League before visiting Santiago Bernab\u00e9u to face Real Madrid in the semifinals of the UEFA Champions League.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pep Guardiola’s team achieved an excellent 2-1 victory over Leeds United at home, in a match that, although all the team’s starters played, it was noticeable that they were a bit relaxed or, we could say, careful, to arrive healthy for the important Champions League match.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As expected, City had complete control of this match at home, and thanks to two goals from G\u00fcndogan in the 19th and 27th minutes, the team could calmly take the game to victory. On the other hand, Leeds managed to pull one back in the 85th minute thanks to Rodrigo Moreno Machado’s goal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this victory,\u00a0Manchester City remains at the top of the Premier League standings with 82 points,<\/strong>\u00a0one more than Arsenal with three games left (and a postponed match against Brighton). Meanwhile, Leeds finally fell into the relegation zone and will now have to wait for a miracle to get out of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
