He\u2019s more skilled on his feet than he gets credit for, but even so, his best attributes in scrap are probably his durability and power.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At 25 years of age, Garry looks like an eventual contender.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A former Cage Warriors champion, the Irish striker has stopped six of his opponents via knockout, and he\u2019s shown off some punishing accuracy thus far in his young career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Like many undefeated young knockout artists, Garry\u2019s kickboxing offense has developed more quickly than his defense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UFC Fight Night: <\/strong>Carlos Ulberg vs. Ihor Potieria<\/h2>\n\n\n\nWhy Bet on Carlos Ulberg?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Carlos Ulberg (7-1) wiped out Bruno Oliveira on Contender Series to earn a UFC contract, only to lose a \u201cFight of the Night\u201d to Kennedy Nzechukwu in his Octagon debut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBlack Jag\u201d has since won three straight, including a pair of first-round knockouts over Tafon Nchukwi and Nicolae Negumereanu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Four of his five professional knockout wins have come in the first round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Why Bet on Ihor Potieria?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Ihor Potieria (20-3) capped off a 15-fight win streak by knocking out Lukasz Sudolski on Contender Series but found himself out-matched by Nicolae Negumereanu his next time out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
His sophomore effort came six months later when he stopped Mauricio \u201cShogun\u201d Rua at UFC 283.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDuelist\u201d faces a one-inch height disadvantage and a two-inch reach disadvantage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Carlos Ulberg vs. Ihor Potieria Final Betting Analysis:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
It’s hard to picture this going well for Potieria. As with most of the division, Ulberg has him out-classed in striking technique, and Potieria\u2019s iffy cardio means he can\u2019t rely on just out-lasting \u201cBlack Jag\u201d the way Nzechukwu did.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It\u2019s not like Ihor has much of a wrestling attack, either, so he\u2019s at the mercy of Carlos’ full kickboxing arsenal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Potieria has to rely on clipping Ulberg with a stray shot if he wants to win. That may have been an outside possibility if he\u2019d faced Carlos earlier in the latter\u2019s UFC career, but with the Nzechukwu and Cherant fights behind him, Ulberg\u2019s advanced past the point where that\u2019s a threat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In short, Ulberg melts him with a counter in the first five minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
UFC Fight Night: <\/strong>Tim Means vs. Alex Morono<\/h2>\n\n\n\nWhy Bet on Tim Means?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe Dirty Bird\u201d is a 39-year-old fighter that has been through a lot in his life. From getting shot in the leg, and developing a pain-med addiction, to serving time in prison, Tim Means has had quite the journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He has a 32-14-1 professional MMA record, with 19 KOs and 5 submission victories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the UFC, Means averages 4.91 significant strikes landed and 3.58 absorbed per minute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He also has a solid 1.13 takedown average per 15 minutes spent inside the octagon. He will have the threat of both standup and wrestling this weekend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Why Bet on Alex Morono?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Morono has a similar tenure in the UFC as Means; they fight everyone in the division, it seems. Morono has a 22-8 professional record, with a split of 6 TKO\/KO wins and 6 submissions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The 32-year-old will be the smaller guy in the octagon on Saturday, but he has a better average of 5.22 significant strikes landed per minute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tim Means vs. Alex Morono Final Betting Analysis:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Means still has a lot of durabilities, he won\u2019t ever give up in a fight, and he has the skillset needed to beat someone like Morono. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Even though Alex is an interesting match for him, he has been in the game for about two full decades now, so age, experience, and durability will be factors to account for the results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We believe Tim will be able to bring the pressure to Morono and mix in level changes to throw off the game plan of the latter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Look for a decision victory, probably 29-28 for The Dirty Bird.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
UFC Fight Night: <\/strong>Matt Brown vs. Court McGee<\/h2>\n\n\n\nWhy Bet on Matt Brown?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Matt Brown (23-19) \u2014 reeling from consecutive losses to Miguel Baeza and Carlos Condit \u2014 smashed his way back into the win column with a one-punch finish of Dhiego Lima.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe Immortal\u201d subsequently fell just short in a split decision loss to Bryan Barberena, though he did score his eighth UFC post-fight bonus in the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
His 21 professional finishes include 15 by knockouts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Why Bet on Court McGee?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Court McGee (22-11) secured his first multi-fight win streak since 2013, out-lasting Claudio Silva and Ramiz Brahimaj back-to-back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This set up a battle with Jeremiah Wells, who handed McGee just the second knockout loss of his career with a vicious left hook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Matt Brown vs. Court McGee Final Betting Analysis:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Brown\u2019s increasingly poor cardio has forced him to rely more and more on his wrestling these past few years, which plays right into the hands of \u201cThe Crusher.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Even if McGee failed to address many of his faults, his engine has never been in doubt, and Matt is neither significantly stronger than him nor a superior technical takedown artist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Court has always feasted on this level of grappling. That\u2019s all moot if Brown just knocks him stiff, of course, and that\u2019s far from infeasible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
McGee can be weirdly reticent to use his wrestling at times and just had his chin horrifically checked by Wells.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, we don\u2019t think Brown\u2019s got enough left in the tank to deal with Court’s suffocating pressure for any length of time before running out of steam. In the end, the latter grinds his way back into the win column.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
UFC Fight Night: <\/strong>Karl Williams vs. Chase Sherman<\/h2>\n\n\n\nWhy Bet on Karl Williams?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
An upset decision over Jimmy Lawson on Contender Series extended Karl Williams\u2019 (8-1) win streak to four and earned him a UFC contract.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He ultimately debuted seven months later, leaning on his wrestling to claim a decisive victory over Lukasz Brzeski.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He was originally slated to face Sherman at UFC 287, but \u201cThe Vanilla Gorilla\u201d withdrew because of medical issues on the fight night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Why Bet on Chase Sherman?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
After nearly two years away from the promotion, Chase Sherman (16-11) scored his first UFC win since 2017, knocking out Ike Villanueva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He enters the cage this Saturday having lost five of six, though he did claim \u201cPerformance of the Night\u201d for his finish of Jared Vanderaa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
All but one of his victories have come via knockout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Karl Williams vs. Chase Sherman Final Betting Analysis:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Sherman has never had an answer for persistent wrestlers, as seen in his quick submission losses to Jake Collier and Alexandr Romanov.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Williams\u2019 hands are also fast enough that I wouldn\u2019t favor his foe too heavily in a pure striking battle, either, much less with the threat of takedowns looming over his head.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
All Karl has to do to win here is follow the same gameplan he utilized against Brzeski, which Chase flat-out doesn\u2019t have the means to stop. In other words, expect another grind-heavy victory for the Contender Series product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
UFC Fight Night: <\/strong>Cody Stamann vs. Douglas Silva de Andrade<\/h3>\n\n\n\nWhy Bet on Cody Stamann?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Cody Stamann (215-1) went from starting his UFC career 5-1-1 to dropping three straight, including a 47-second guillotine loss to Said Nurmagomedov.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe Spartan\u201d has since returned to form with back-to-back wins, the most recent of which saw him out-strike Luan Lacerda to a unanimous decision in hostile territory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Why Bet on Douglas Silva de Andrade?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
After a four-year finish drought, \u201cD\u2019Silva\u201d hit the ground running with back-to-back stoppage wins over Gaetano Pirrello and Sergey Morozov, the latter of which earned him \u201cFight of the Night.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This set up a clash with Said Nurmagomedov \u2014 and despite a spirited effort \u2014 Silva de Andrade ultimately fell short on all three scorecards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He has knocked out 20 professional opponents and submitted another two.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Cody Stamann vs. Douglas Silva de Andrade Final Betting Analysis:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
We\u2019d love to see Silva de Andrade finally get over the hump \u2014 he\u2019s paid his dues and is pure excitement in the cage. That said, this is the level at which he consistently falls short.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Stamann is seasoned, durable, a capable wrestler, and boasts a solid gas tank, all traits that have given \u201cD\u2019Silva\u201d issues in the past.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Silva de Andrade can\u2019t out-wrestle Cody the way Aljamain Sterling and Merab Dvalishvili did, catch him with an opportunistic submission like Nurmagomedov, or out-technique him like Jimmie Rivera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
His only shot lies in hurting Stamann, which none of \u201cThe Spartan\u2019s\u201d 12 UFC opponents to date have managed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Cody can stand up to Douglas’ power and neutralize him with both takedowns and consistent striking offense, so expect him to walk away with a decision win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
