Spanish soccer continues to prove its supremacy in Europe after this victory (the seventh in history) of FC Sevilla in the Europa League. Although the team had a really disturbing season and were in the relegation zone in LaLiga Santander for many weeks, it managed to find the strength to turn its situation around and beat Roma in the tournament’s Grand Final.

It all started with an even match, as we expected in the preview. Both teams were studying each other at the beginning, and there was some nervousness at the start of the attacks. However, the spearhead of the Italian team, the Argentinean world champion Paulo Dybala, was in charge of putting his team ahead with a great goal with a cross leg from Bono, Sevilla’s goalkeeper.

In the extra time, it was clear that the players were completely exhausted, and after 30 minutes, they went to the penalty shootout.
