The Premier League experienced one of its best weekends on matchday 7, as several of the favorites fell and there was a match between candidates that ended in a huge controversy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Manchester United showed one of their worst performances and lost 1-0 at home to Crystal Palace, however, the surprise came at Molineux, as Wolves achieved a historic victory over Manchester City, reigning English and Champions League champions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the most important match of the weekend, Tottenham beat Liverpool, who were wronged by a referee’s decision to disallow a goal that was in a good position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, Arsenal got back to winning ways and beat Bournemouth away, so they are now third in the league.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A huge surprise in the Premier League, as Wolves, which was one of the worst teams in terms of results in the Premier League,<\/a> but not so much in terms of play, beat the all-powerful Manchester City of Pep Guardiola, who was not on the bench due to suspension, 2-1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first conversion came for the home team in the 13th minute, with Pedro Neto’s overflow and cross, which R\u00faben Dias put into his net. Bukayo Saka took advantage of a rebound in the box and scored the first goal after 17 minutes, then came the turn of Martin Odegaard, who celebrated the second with a penalty kick (44′). The third came in the same way with the German Kai Havertz (53′), who had not scored all season with the Gunners. The last goal was scored by defender Ben White, heading in Odegaard’s cross at the near post (90+3′).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Reds conversion came from a shot in the heart of the box by Cody Gakpo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was a duel marked by controversy, as Liverpool ended up with two players sent off and Luis D\u00edaz had a goal disallowed for a non-existent offside, which led the English Referees’ Association to apologize. Also, Alexis Mac Allister could have a sanction by the FA because of an Instagram post in which he says that it is too hard to play against 12 players, referring to the fact that the referee was in favor of the Londoners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
