The tennis year closes with the last major tournament of 2023, the Nitto ATP Finals, which for the third year takes place at the Pala Alpitour in Turin, Italy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Djokovic arrives as the man to beat at the Nitto ATP Finals <\/a>because he is the current winner and, above all, due to him needing one more trophy from this tournament to break the record for the most titles. He holds it alongside Swiss Roger Federer, both with six.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year ‘Nole’ won three of the four Grand Slams, being crowned at the Australian Open, Roland Garros, and US Open. The only one he could not win was Wimbledon, losing in the final to Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At 36 years of age, the Serb is more relevant than ever, winning a total of six trophies in the year. He totaled 9,945 points in 2023. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
