Here we are, on the threshold of the Wild Card games of the 2023\/24 NFL edition, an exciting climax to a regular season that left fans breathless. It was a real heart attack from start to finish, with teams fighting fiercely until the last second to get qualification for the playoffs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This season has brought a lot of emotions in each of the games we have witnessed, and there is no doubt that in the Wild Card, it will be no different. Each team is putting their lives on the line this weekend, aiming to keep their hopes intact of fighting for the Vince Lombardi Trophy in Super Bowl LVIII.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of these Wild Card games for the weekend will be between the surprise of the season, the Detroit Lions, and the revitalized Los Angeles Rams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why Bet on the Lions?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

After going 9-8 last season, the Lions have taken a big step forward in 2023\/24 under third-year head coach Dan Campbell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The team is led by this season’s NFL MVP candidate, Jared Goff, and wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, who has taken care of Detroit’s offense, making it flourish. Goff was the second-best QB in the league in the regular season with 67.3% in passes completed, for 4,575 yards and 30 touchdowns. Meanwhile, St. Brown had 119 receptions for 1,515 yards and 10 touchdowns.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The defense has also improved, going from being one of the worst units in the league to the middle of the squad, as they have an average of 23.2 points per game.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Lions had an excellent regular season as they finished with a 12-5 record and won the NFC North by a long way. Now, they will want to show that their level of play remains intact in this life-or-death match against the Rams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why Bet on the Rams?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Rams have not looked as dominant as in previous seasons, where they even managed to lift the Vince Lombardi Trophy. The offense has been peppered with injuries to Matthew Stafford, Cooper Kupp, and others. However, their defense is still robust, although it has shown some vulnerability against the best offenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Los Angeles, Stafford’s health is important. If he is limited by his injuries, the Ram’s offense may have a hard time keeping up with the Lions in this game.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stafford threw for 62.6% in passes completed, for 3,965 yards and 24 touchdowns. This simply makes us notice that the Rams are a team that depends much more on their rushing game, where they have Kyren Williams (228 carries for 1,144 yards and a total of 12 touchdowns).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As we can see, LA depends a lot on its ground game, so, they will have to manage to overcome a solid defense of the Lions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
