He also has pretty good BJJ, so\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0expected\u00a0that he\u00a0won\u2019t\u00a0simply allow opponents to do much with any top control that they do muster, which was the case when Elliott took him down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why Bet on Alex Perez?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Pure\u00a0recklessness and insanity from the UFC matchmakers to trust Alex Perez with a headline spot on a card.\u00a0We know\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0an Apex card, and that Perez is coming on short notice, and he looked good enough against Mokaev\u2026but the guy will forever\u00a0be seen\u00a0as a pull-out merchant.<br><br>Alex has got great\u00a0wrestling, both offensively and defensively, and his striking\u00a0isn\u2019t\u00a0too bad either.\u00a0We think\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0easy and fair to say he should be the inferior fighter to Nicolau on the feet here.\u00a0<br><br>Also, as the loss to Figgy\u00a0kind of\u00a0showed,\u00a0he\u2019s\u00a0not the\u00a0greatest\u00a0grappler when he gets things to the mat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Matheus Nicolau vs. Alex Perez<strong>\u00a0Final Betting Analysis:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Nicolau has shown he can be\u00a0powerful\u00a0on the feet (landing three knockdowns in his last two wins), and\u00a0he\u2019s\u00a0also got\u00a0pretty high-level BJJ we\u00a0haven\u2019t\u00a0seen in some time, but Perez\u00a0being tapped\u00a0by Figueiredo and Pantoja shows\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0a path to victory for Nicolau.<br><br>If we add the short notice preparation for the fight, then Nicolau is the sure betting pick.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">UFC Fight Night:\u00a0<strong>Ryan Spann vs. Bogdan Guskov\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why Bet on Ryan Spann?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Spann is the much more diverse fighter in this match, with his submission game and potential to mix in sloppy grappling, so you have to favor him if this fight\u00a0ends up becoming\u00a0a bit more\u00a0methodical\u00a0than\u00a0we&#8217;d\u00a0expect.\u00a0<br><br>Spann is also the more experienced guy. However, his durability is\u00a0being testedat the moment, with three of his last four fights ending via a stoppage loss (where he\u00a0was hurt\u00a0with strikes on multiple occasions).\u00a0<br><br>He also showed pretty terrible fight IQ in the Krylov loss. In short,\u00a0he\u2019s\u00a0not the kind of guy you can trust as a clear favorite. There is, therefore, no need to take this one super\u00a0seriously,\u00a0because it\u00a0won\u2019t\u00a0take long before both men start frothing at the mouth and ask Jesus to take the wheel as they trade hooks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ryan Spann vs. Bogdan Guskov<strong>\u00a0Final Betting Analysis:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This one\u00a0is going to\u00a0be chaotic and turn into a coin toss real quick. Yes, Spann can grapple, but you\u00a0haven\u2019t\u00a0tried to trust him with your money before if you think\u00a0he\u2019s\u00a0going to\u00a0go out there and follow the path of least resistance.\u00a0<br><br>He\u00a0is likely going to\u00a0give Guskov his path to victory on a platter\u00a0though\u2026which is why we like the latter in this clash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">UFC Fight Night:\u00a0<strong>Karine Silva vs. Ariane Lipski\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why Bet on Karine Silva?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Karine Silva is one of those rare WMMA finishers.\u00a0I\u2019ve\u00a0had\u00a0a lot of\u00a0issues with\u00a0Silva\u2019s\u00a0overall capabilities because she appears to have lost more minutes than\u00a0she\u2019s\u00a0won in the UFC\/DWCS so far.\u00a0<br><br>We\u00a0were convinced\u00a0we had found the fade when she\u00a0was scheduled\u00a0to face Maryna Moroz, but Silva\u00a0put in her best performance to date and suddenly showed good minute-winning capabilities.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why Bet on Ariane Lipski?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s\u00a0pretty remarkable how\u00a0much\/quickly Ariane Lipski has turned around her UFC career.<br><br>She then started her UFC career 2-6, losing to Molly McCann, Joanne Wood, Antonina Shevchenko, and Montana De La Rosa (by finish in the latter two\u00a0as well).\u00a0<br><br>The biggest issue was her takedown defense and general anti-grappling\u2026but she suddenly just massively improved that, as if overnight, when she faced Mandy Bohm.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Karine Silva vs. Ariane Lipski\u00a0<strong>Final Betting Analysis:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This\u00a0is a fight between one woman who usually looks good but has the potential to\u00a0underperform,\u00a0and another woman who usually looks\u00a0bad,\u00a0but has the potential\u00a0to massively overperform. No matter how you spin it, this one is a bit of a coin toss, but we are taking Karine Silva this time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">UFC Fight Night:\u00a0<strong>Jhonata Diniz vs. Austen Lane\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why Bet on Jhonata Diniz?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0Jhonata Diniz makes his UFC debut, having won every prior MMA\u00a0bout\u00a0in the opening round.\u00a0This\u00a0heavily implies\u00a0he\u2019s\u00a0going to\u00a0look bad if you\u00a0can\u00a0extend him past five minutes.<br><br>Not guaranteed, but likely. Before that, his best win is Juan Adams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Jhonata Diniz vs. Austen Lane<strong>\u00a0Final Betting Analysis:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Diniz striking in the DWCS is likable by HW standards. He has a nice mixture of power and volume, which is surprisingly rare\u00a0these days!\u00a0Having said all that,\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0pretty\u00a0obvioushe\u2019s\u00a0going to be the better striker,\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0all about how he handles MMA that makes this one interesting.\u00a0<br><br>So\u00a0there\u2019s\u00a0a whole lot of questions and very few answers. This fight is hard to pick on, but if you had to get\u00a0involved\u00a0you would probably want to look for Diniz in Round 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">UFC Fight Night:\u00a0<strong>Jonathan Pearce vs. David Onama\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why Bet on Jonathan Pearce?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re\u00a0still not over that Jonathan Pearce loss to Joanderson Brito. He was coasting against him! He was getting the trash talk in\u2026and then he got sloppy and got submitted. Very\u00a0disappointing results for him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why Bet on David Onama?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This fight revolves around\u00a0Onama\u2019s\u00a0ability to\u00a0either\u00a0keep the fight standing or find a way to cause damage\u00a0in\u00a0between the takedown attempts.<br><br>To do that,\u00a0Onama\u2019s\u00a0going to\u00a0need sharp cardio, which\u00a0hasn\u2019t\u00a0always been his\u00a0strongest\u00a0skill set. Considering Means has only ever landed a maximum of three takedowns in a fight, we\u00a0don\u2019t\u00a0see The Dirty Bird getting things done via large amounts of top control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tim Means vs. Uros Medic<strong>\u00a0Final Betting Analysis:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>On the feet, we think Means is probably technical enough to keep this one very close when\u00a0they\u2019re\u00a0just touching each other\u2026but Medic\u00a0has the potential to\u00a0spin this fight in his favor if he connects clean.\u00a0<br><br>At the end of the day,\u00a0Medic struggled with the striking of Matthew Semelsberger but erased all that by knocking him out.<br><br>Either way,\u00a0we\u00a0don\u2019t\u00a0think Means is outmatched anywhere other than power, durability, and general athleticism.Whilstthat\u2019s\u00a0enough for Medic to\u00a0be graded\u00a0as the favorite, a win for Means certainly feels plausible\u2026so we believe the line is a bit wide here.\u00a0<br><br>With all that\u00a0being said, we feel like this is going to be one of those fights where Means looks much more competitive\u00a0minute-by-minute,\u00a0but ultimately gets blasted\u00a0and\u00a0no one remembers anything other than him getting twatted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">UFC Fight Night:\u00a0<strong>Rani Yahya vs. Victor Henry\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why Bet on Rani Yahya?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Rani Yahya is a pure BJJ guy, but he is\u00a0very old\u00a0now\u00a0and\u00a0his\u00a0style is not MMA-friendly in 2024 (the era of damage and\u00a0\u201cfight to finish\u201d)\u00a0if\u00a0he\u2019s\u00a0not winning via submission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why Bet on Victor Henry?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Victor Henry is a decent enough fighter who\u00a0doesn\u2019t\u00a0appear to have the best takedown defense, but hehasn\u2019tbeen submitted\u00a0in 30 professional fights.
