Everything he does is with clean technique and outstanding timing, and he has the cardio to keep up a ridiculously high pace for\u00a05\u00a0rounds.\u00a0<br><br>There is no doubt in our mind that he\u00a0is going to\u00a0be using his brilliant wrestling and grappling\u00a0to slowly dismantle his opponent here, but we\u00a0need to point out that Makhachev is indeed a few steps behind when it comes to boxing. He will have to make the most out of his takedowns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why Bet on Dustin Poirier?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Dustin Poirier\u00a0is on the last leg of career-wise, there\u00a0is quite a lot weighing on him for this one as it is his final chance to get a belt.\u00a0That\u2019s\u00a0already a lot of pressure, but he thrives in this\u00a0kind of\u00a0environment.\u00a0<br><br>Poirier\u00a0is going to\u00a0have to contend with the almost instant wrestling pressure and pace of Makhachev. We must consider that he is not at all a wrestler, he\u00a0is going to get taken down,\u00a0he\u00a0got taken down quite a few times when\u00a0he\u00a0fought a\u00a0very\u00a0depleted BSD, and now\u00a0he\u2019s\u00a0coming up against a very physically ready Makhachev. As a result, we\u00a0justdon\u2019t\u00a0see him doing too well in the wrestling department against Islam.\u00a0<br><br>However,\u00a0when it comes to\u00a0the striking, Poirier holds all the cards here. He has incredible timing with his lead hook, and if he times it right, that uppercut could be disastrous for Makhachev.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Final Betting Analysis:\u00a0<strong>Islam Makhachev vs. Dustin Poirier\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There is a lot of discussion about Poirier landing a guillotine on Makhachev, but\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0all hype and hope at this rate. If he could not land a guillotine on BSD, he probably\u00a0isn\u2019t\u00a0going to land one against a high-level wrestler like his next rival.<br><br>We do not see the champ\u00a0being\u00a0successful\u00a0against Poirier on the feet, as the\u00a0latter&#8217;s\u00a0striking is sublime.\u00a0It is the most brilliant close-range striking\u00a0thatyou\u2019ll\u00a0probably ever see in the LW division, and those tight hooks he uses are\u00a0something\u00a0nasty.<br><br>For Poirier,\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0going to\u00a0be the hook and the uppercut that catch Makhachev. He may be a physical specimen\u00a0but\u00a0the power he throws with is unsustainable for a three-round back and forth, and\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0certainly not the first time Strickland has fought a powerhouse.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Final Betting Analysis:\u00a0<strong>Sean Strickland vs. Paulo Costa\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If Sean Strickland sets a high pace of steady volume and walks Costa back throughout the fight, he can easily win this fight. The only thing that Strickland needs to be careful of is the power of Costa coming back his way.<br><br>Costa&#8217;s\u00a0high-power but low-volume fighting style\u00a0is not one to\u00a0impress the judges if it\u00a0doesn&#8217;t\u00a0land, and if it\u00a0lands\u00a0it likely\u00a0doesn&#8217;t\u00a0need to make it to the\u00a0judges&#8217;\u00a0cards. In this sense, we think that Strickland and his 4-inch reach advantage\u00a0are going to\u00a0be too effective in stifling the aggression of his rival, landing a decision from the judges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">UFC 302:\u00a0<strong>Kevin Holland vs. Michal Oleksiejczuk<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why Bet on Kevin Holland?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Holland\u00a0is coming off back-to-back losses against JDM and MVP.\u00a0Whilst\u00a0back-to-back losses could easily make people dismiss him, we do want to bring up how competitive his fight against JDM\u00a0was,\u00a0and how durable and\u00a0tough\u00a0he was when MVP was taking his soul in\u00a0what was\u00a0such a brilliant display of unorthodox kickboxing.\u00a0<br><br>Kevin has always been a game\u00a0fighter,\u00a0he has a chin that allows him to hang in there with the hardest hitters, and he is genuinely a very skilled fighter who has outstanding boxing.\u00a0He&#8217;s\u00a0also an expert at range and luring his opponent into an angle that gives him an advantage.\u00a0<br><br>Holland is coming back up to 185 after a fun stint at 170, and since\u00a0Oleksiejczuk has very little wrestling threat, we are excited to see if we witness him be himself once again because, before his losses against Brunson and Vettori at 185, he was a dangerous fighter.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why Bet on Michal Oleksiejczuk?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Oleksiejczuk\u00a0is coming off a tough sub-loss against Pereira, and we honestly\u00a0learned nothing else about him during that fight.\u00a0He was still looking for those heavy punches,\u00a0and\u00a0he still\u00a0had somewhat bad takedown defense.<br><br>We do think that\u00a0Oleksiejczuk\u2019s\u00a0best chance to win this fight is to put Holland away, but\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0just a bit of a tall order because, if Holland\u00a0couldn\u2019t\u00a0get knocked out by the ridiculous power of MVP,\u00a0it&#8217;s\u00a0harder to think Oleksiejczuk is going to achieve that success that MVP tried to chase.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Final Betting Analysis:\u00a0<strong>Kevin Holland vs. Michal Oleksiejczuk\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Holland&#8217;s\u00a0reach disadvantage\u00a0is going to\u00a0be\u00a0fairly\u00a0prominent here, making Oleksiejczuk rush in a little bit with some explosive forward movement to cover the distance. However, the former is too good at crowding punches and being hard to hit.<br><br>We have\u00a0to also point out\u00a0that Holland is also a\u00a0fairly\u00a0experienced grappler, he\u00a0has quite a few submissions on his record,\u00a0and,\u00a0if he wants the path of least resistance when fighting Oleksiejczuk, he is going to look for that takedown and find a submission.\u00a0<br><br>However,\u00a0that\u2019s\u00a0not how Holland fights, he\u00a0is a crowd-pleaser and is most likely going to want to keep this fight standing so he can land his quick combinations at range and just put away Oleksiejczuk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">UFC 302:\u00a0<strong>Jailton Almeida vs. Alexandr Romanov<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why Bet on Jailton Almeida?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Almeida\u00a0is coming off a KO loss against Blaydes just a few months ago. For the most part, it was a strong showing of his wrestling ability and strength, however, we do question the quality of opponents that Romanov has defeated\u00a0in comparison\u00a0to\u00a0Almeida\u2019s.<br><br>If an old 40+-year-old in Espino can out-wrestle Romanov, there is no doubt that a younger and perhaps more athletic fighter in Almeida can replicate that\u00a0same kind of\u00a0style and\u00a0just\u00a0overwhelm him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Final Betting Analysis:\u00a0<strong>Jailton Almeida vs. Alexandr Romanov\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Romanov is a strong competitor, so we think there might be enough resistance in the wrestling department to make this fight a long, grueling one.<br><br>On the\u00a0feet\u00a0we\u00a0don\u2019t\u00a0see a lot\u00a0happening,\u00a0Almeida has shown to be a bit more free with his boxing, only to open up his opponent to takedowns, and that could very well be the game plan for this weekend. Box a little\u00a0then\u00a0shoot for a takedown, as it could be effective against Romanov\u00a0who\u00a0is a bit more one-dimensional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">UFC 302:\u00a0<strong>Randy Brown vs. Elizeu Zaleski<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why Bet on Randy Brown?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Brown\u00a0is coming off a fantastic KO over highly touted kickboxing veteran Muslim Salikhov, and even though he did win, it did not come without a lot of damage coming his way.\u00a0<br><br>He suffers a little bit from what\u00a0a lot of\u00a0longer and taller fighters suffer from, and\u00a0that&#8217;s\u00a0a lack of fundamental striking defense. His range and reach are his defense, if\u00a0someone can penetrate that reach difference and enter the pocket, then he is a vulnerable target at that moment.\u00a0However,\u00a0when Brown\u00a0is at range and\u00a0he\u2019s\u00a0in the zone, he is incredible.<br><br>His long jab is his best\u00a0weapon,\u00a0he\u00a0uses it to\u00a0both\u00a0damage his opponent and\u00a0to\u00a0set up subsequent punches, and these shots\u00a0aren\u2019t\u00a0always the same.\u00a0There are so many permutations of that same setup\u00a0that,\u00a0as soon as you see Brown throw more than one jab, you know he is setting up a clean combination.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why Bet on Elizeu Zaleski?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Zaleski\u00a0is coming off a draw against Rinat Fakhretdinov, and very early on\u00a0we\u00a0saw him struggle with the pressure and power of Fakhretdinov.\u00a0<br><br>Elizeu has ridiculous power in his hands\u00a0thoughand\u00a0he has the speed and explosiveness to enter the pocket and land those dangerous punches that\u00a0are going to land whenever he is going to\u00a0enter\u00a0the pocket during this\u00a0bout.\u00a0However, he does not have the best\u00a0defense,\u00a0he often leaves his hands a bit low, and\u00a0whilstthat\u2019s\u00a0great for an explosive overhand or a quick burst of action\u00a0that\u2019s\u00a0hard to read, we\u00a0don\u2019t\u00a0think\u00a0that\u2019s\u00a0a good kind of defense when\u00a0you\u2019re\u00a0fighting someone who has a 5-inch reach advantage and a 4-inch height advantage.\u00a0<br><br>Zaleski is not a safe fighter. He is here to perform and look for highlights, apart from being an incredible finisher, but he is also reckless,\u00a0he\u00a0is also\u00a0susceptible to getting hurt, and\u00a0whilst\u00a0he did exceptionally well against Fakhretdinov, that was\u00a0mostly\u00a0due to the\u00a0latter&#8217;s\u00a0predictable attacks.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Final Betting Analysis:\u00a0<strong>Randy Brown vs. Elizeu Zaleski\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Brown has shown a bit of a weakness\u00a0andthat\u2019s\u00a0his legs. He is so easy to leg kick due to his height and size that his lead leg is ripe for the taking. There is little doubt in my mind that Zaleski\u00a0is going to\u00a0chew up those legs early, as that was the game plan for Salikhov before that one-one-two combination came his way at ridiculous speeds.<br><br>Brown has a wide range of attacks, including his very snappy front and head kicks, so there is little doubt that Zaleski\u00a0is going to\u00a0be somewhat overwhelmed on the feet if the former finds his groove early on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">UFC 302:\u00a0<strong>Roman Kopylov vs. C\u00e9sar Almeida<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why Bet on Roman Kopylov?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Kopylov\u00a0is coming off a\u00a0tough\u00a0submission loss against Alexander Hernandez, and it was a competitive fight up until that point. One thing we like about him is his diversity with\u00a0striking\u00a0as he is ridiculously quick on the feet for a Middleweight.
