Whenever Brazil participates in a major competition of any kind, they expect to win, and is no different this time. The Costa Ricans have had no trouble in World Cup qualifying thus far. However, Brazil has an array of talented youngsters and experienced players to call upon, and we believe they will overwhelm Los Ticos, who are still going through a transitional period.

This match will be a good way to start the action for both teams as the Verdeamarela is likely to get up to full speed, and Costa Rica will only be working upwards as they face more accessible rivals in the next two matches.
