A weekend without many surprises in the Brasileir\u00e3o after matchday 24, but with Fortaleza as the new leader of the tournament.

The Tricolor do Pici beat Corinthians 1-0 and took advantage of the draw between Bahia and Botafogo to take first place in the championship.

On the other hand, Fluminense managed to get out of relegation, and now it is Vit\u00f3ria who occupies that spot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With Est\u00eav\u00e3o as the star player, Palmeiras crushed Cuiab\u00e1 5-0 and moved to third place with 44 points, four behind leaders Fortaleza.

The 17-year-old, called to the Brazilian National Team last week, scored two goals and provided two assists, reaching seven in each item. <\/strong>The first goal came after 15 minutes from a corner kick by Est\u00eav\u00e3o, as the goalkeeper misjudged the jump and let the ball find Murilo, who just pushed the ball in.

Then came the young midfielder’s brace, the first from a penalty kick and the second after a good individual play inside the area. The 4-0 would come before the end of the first half after a shot by Jos\u00e9 L\u00f3pez that Maur\u00edcio deviated.

In the second half, Felipe Anderson scored his first goal after his return to Brazil after a pass from Est\u00eav\u00e3o.

With this defeat, Cuiab\u00e1 sinks to the bottom of the table with 18 points, although it has two games less than the majority. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bahia showed it is a good home team and held leaders Botafogo to an entertaining 0-0 draw.

For the Paulista team, it was a hard blow, as they have only won one of their last four away games and lost the lead in the tournament, being one point behind Fortaleza while having one more game.

The big winner of the weekend was Fortaleza. The Tricolor do Pici defeated Corinthians 1-0 and is the new leader of the Brasileir\u00e3o. <\/a>

The goal was scored by Yago Pikachu in the 77th minute, after a pass from Juan Martin Lucero, but thanks to the great play of Moises, who ran several meters eluding opponents.

However, Tom\u00e1s Cardona was also to be applauded. A few minutes earlier, the defender saved on the line a shot by Yuri Alberto that would have given the Tim\u00e3o the lead.

Flamengo achieved a hard-fought and important 2-1 victory over Red Bull Bragantino thatkeeps them in the fight for the Brazilian title.

The Meng\u00e3o took the lead after 16 minutes with a header by Michael and outplayed their opponents but could not increase the advantage.

In the second half, Bragantino’s equalizer came from a corner kick after a rejection by Fla’s defense was left to Douglas Mendes, who, alone on the edge of the six-yard box, scored to make it 1-1.

However, just two minutes after that, a rebound from a Red Bull defender would hit his teammate, Raul, and into his net. An own goal and 2-1 for Flamengo.

Now, the Carioca side is in fourth place with 44 points, although with a game in hand<\/strong>RB Bragantino dropped out of the international cup places and is 14th with 27 points. <\/strong>
